Hi Urg *subscribes*
Well done on your goal list, I'll have to go away and ponder mine for a bit. Im just starting to get the hang of this diary lark, but I think my ramblings are a bit mundane at the moment. OMG I'm a "Boring Betty". No offence to all you Bettys out there!
Maybe as the days go on, exciting things will happen, who knows?0 -
Hi Urg
I love reading your posts on other people's diaries so will subscribe to read more
Good luck with it and :T for the pledge to do one thing for yourself once a week - I might borrow that idea!0 -

Tracy if you go onto "Thread Tools at the start of Urgs diary and click on subscribe, it will then be added to your quicklist.
Hope this helps.0 -
Ooh new posts and new people too! Look forward to getting to know you all.
Buffy - I'll never forget how kind you were to me on one of my first posts here! Besides I have been known to mean to you too! Tee hee!
Today was definately not a NSD - DH and I went shopping. I keep trying to reduce the grocery budget but we are not great at it. I had a voucher that was save £6 if you spend £60. Our main shop was about £45 so we ended up going around the shop adding to the staples. If yu think about it, I ended up spending more that I saved. My goal for the month is to eat out of the cupboards as much as possible as they are currently heaving! DH also spent about £30 at the Oriental supermarket where he gets his Soy milk. Grocery challenge is really going to be my nemisis this year.
Also managed to bleach the grout in the bathroom (and taught my darling brother how to do it in his!); DH put up the final curtain pole and sorted out the washing machine. We then visited Dad and brother.
DH and I watched a movie tonight and now I better get off to bed soon or I won't be able to get into a decent routine for going back to work on Tuesday.
Enough rambling - will update sig when I'm at the proper computer tomorrow.

Don't fret about NSD, I had a spend day as well. Had to buy dogfood. Me and hubby have no food in the house but the dog is sorted:rotfl:0 -
Thanks Romy! Today was in fact my first NSD of the year!
Spent ages reading diaries this morning on my iPhone - I haven't been on here as much in the last few months so it was nice to catch up on MSE info. The rest of the day was pretty busy in some ways. I have been doing loads but as usual - not everything on my list!
Today was in fact my first NSD of the day and year! I have also:- Joined a couple of survey sites
- Moved some money to my savings account
- Started a list of all my banking sign up informaiton
- Started a list of all my bank accounts
- Cleared a cluttered corner of the bedroom
- Cleared out the hall cupboard in anger (in an attempt to find a hoover attachment
) - Flatmate and I had a cheeseboard to use up the lovely (and smelly) cheeses in the fridge while watching a film
- Had a lovely homecooked meal - chickpea and potatoe curry with rice
- Returned a curtain pole and got a refund
- Treated myself to a facemask - my skin feels lovely!
- Backed bags ready for tomorrow to help me get going on time
I am going back to Weight Watchers tomorrow - I really need to get back into losing weight. This is part of my 'Healthy' new year approach.
For all those going back to work tomorrow - good luck!
