Sorry to hear that Urg and I really don't know the answer to what to suggest to eat without any further info as in is it home cooked, restaurant etc.
  • Urg

although I think it is a pain of your OH to arrange all the eating malarky with such little consultation, I mean ok I know you have to socialise but a little thinking wouldn't go a miss! I do have one suggestion - the Wendie Plan for WEight watchers? from what I can remember you eat lower points for a few days to allow the one special meal to fall within points range.

haven't got time -marking break! but google it and you should get some idea of what I am wittering on about !

Rant away mylove that is why we are here xxxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Have you tried listening to Paul McKenna "I can make you thin" CD? I can thoroughly recommend it for helping keep your head in the right place while trying to lose weight.

If you haven't already got it, you should be able to get a copy from the library or cheap from Amazon - if you have already got it, dig it out and give it another go.

I honestly think it might help you keep things steadier on all levels xx

Thank you for your lovely comments. I am getting stressed easily as I feel I don't have control at the moment.. I realise most if it is dill to lack of organisation. I need to take control again! I was also nervous about yesterday which was the one-year anniversary of my mum's passing. It ended up being quite nice - we had special Prayers for her.

Hypno - I have some of the Paul McKenna CDs from another set and I did listen to one of them that night and it did help. I need to take some more control. Today I am going to eat fruit for breakfast and have some no point soup to counteract the lunch. Am also going to take DH for a walk!

I got paid yesterday but I have not had time to sort the plans for the next month. As I have said before. I can't afford to pay into the savings this month as I need to pay for my flights and spending money. I can't believe how quickly this trip is coming!

I also need to declare my NSDs: 6/10. Again, this is due to poor planning and not taking lunches into work.

    Will catch up soon.

    Hi Urg

Sorry its been a stressful time for you. I think its the time of the year. January is the most depressing month and the last thing some of us want to do is 'Keep Eating'.

I'm sure that once you go out for your meals you will make good decisions.;)

    Chin up girl, keep smiling:)

    Hi All,

Am up rather late and am tired so will try to keep this short.

Went to dinner with the family - it was nice to catch up with everyone and I managed to mainly eat vegetables to help keep the points down. It's a shame I went mad on the sugar today - I have been really craving it and had a load of sweets and fondants fancies! I have nooooo will power. Will need to list to the cd again as I have weigh in on Tuesday. I also have to prepare myself for two more meals out with OH's family! Will need to make a very large batch of no point soup!

Other news - We bought a kitchen! This is part of the 'get the flat sorted' plan and I am happy with the price. DH and FIL will fit it which will greatly save on the costs. now need to get plumber and electrician organised!

Have lots to do tomorrow including lots of housework. Will try to Post a list tomorrow.

    Good afternoon all!

Hope you are enjoying this sunny but freezing day.

Been up since the crack of dawn. DH cooked a piece of mackeral today and the flat STINKS. I cannot get rid of the smell and it has been making me feel very ill. I am a veggie and have never eaten meat or fish. While I don't like the meat and fish - he doesn't have it too often so I feel quite bad that I have made such a fuss but my flat smells like a fish mongers. LUckily my flatmate is unwell so can't smell anything - I was worried she'd want to move out!!!!

This morning I tried on and made my decisions on the holiday wardrobe. I have identified a few items that I still need and have ordered them online. They will all add to the summer wardrobe this year.

I have also been catching up on a big bag of handwashing that has been accumulating. I'd be too embarrassed to admit how long some of the items have been waiting to be washed but I am hoping to get the majority washed by the end of the week - an item at a time.

    Tonight I will be
    • getting my ironing pile sorted while I watch some TV
    • decide on this week's wardrobe - it helps save time in the morning
    • 15 minutes tidying/decluttering
    • washing (if there is a load to be done)
    • Decide on mealplan for the week
    • Make lunch for tomorrow
    • a couple more bits of handwashing
    • check finances
    • maybe a short walk to try and boost my energy.
    Hope you are all well.
