  • Hello all

New year, new start and all that. So i've created a new account and going to have a fresh go at all my debts and make 2011 my best yet.

I've read this thread with great interest, you guys are truly an inspiration. Your dedication and help and all round niceness (is that even a word>?!) makes me feel all warm inside!

Right, soppy bit over. I'm a late starter with this ebay lark. I've ebayed on and off for years, but i'm on board with a £1000 challenge for 2011. Lets see how we do. I've been rounding my clutter and unwanted things up all week, have the crap christmas presents ready to go too. Lets see how much this stuff gets!

    Time to get listing!

I need to get motivated tonight to list lots of low value items starting at 99p - MOTIVATE ME PEOPLE!!!

I figured a few bids on the higher value items I listed at the weekend would do the trick but so far I've just got a few watchers...I will be really gutted if I spend even longer listing things & nothing sells!

    Fingers crossed my luck changes...

Pernicious I find people seem to bid at the last minute so hopefully this weekend your fortunes will change with the things you listed last week.

I think the little and often approach works best, especially with things you're starting at 99p, doing a few every day/week.

Fingers crossed people are waiting for the last minute with your things finishing this weekend.

With regards to the motivation, think about where the money is going and if it's going off your debts that you'll be one step closer to clearing them and how great that will be.

I didn't manage to get anything listed last night - am annoyed with myself but I was just so knackered :( I shall push myself to get some more things listed over the weekend - if I can photograph them tonight then that gets the first part over and done with.

The listing isn't quite so bad as I can do that whilst watching TV with the laptop - it's the sorting and photographing that takes the time I find.

    LOL at myself!!

A new Ebayinism... So we have the F5 syndrome, and I am now Snobacking.... I mean that I have some bits for collection and have just been very snobby about the packing ie;Carrier bags. I have put the bits into carrier bags but they "have" to be either my Ocado or Sainsbury ones!!! The Iceland ones I shoved back into the cupboard. :rotfl:

Anyway - my last listing of DS games is going well. A bundle of games and up to £25 in the first hour of listing! Lots of emails about a BIN price and 24 watchers already.
