  • The 4 items listed last week have sold, have one collection only item which we re listed and it has a bid on it today!

It finishes tomorrow so it will definatly be going, weve never done a collection only. Do I contact the buyer or do we wait for them to contact us?

72.47 now....got another 50.00 on bids so am a happy bunny...still lots of clutter to list!!
  • Not ebay-related, but I've just listed a few larger items on Gumtree for collection only. Not sure they'll get interest but tried my luck anyway - if not, can always Freecycle or charity shop them.

25 of my listings ending tomorrow, only 5 are selling but some have watchers. I have the ebay companion add-on in Firefox, so everytime I get a new bid it glows and I end up checking watchers, etc etc :o What a loser I am.

Also added a few more 99p items tonight, just clutter really (keyrings, skincare samples, costume jewellery) but every little helps.
  • I will be glued to my e-bay today!! have one item on £150.00 at the moment with 2 hrs to go, not expecting anymore on it, just want to see it sell! made about £58 yesterday but still waiting for some payments, have updated my sig with my total in paypal so far, going to find somemore clutter and start on the wrapping for posting tomorrow, will update later.

I had a few items sell last night but nothing more than starting bid so I've only made about £15, before fees!
Not doing anymore until well after payday now as my clothes usually make more than this. Doesn't seem worth the effort at the moment. I might prep some ready for listing in a few weeks time
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • Hey all
Been a busy week and all my ebay sales ended yesterday/today. So far I'm up to £71 in paypal.:j All good towards my £1000 target given its only 16 Jan!!
I onyl count what's in my paypal, and I know that this will decrease each month when fees come out but I can't be fussed with all the faffing about, deducting fees etc- would rather just count at end of each month.
Still got some more with watchers which hopefully may sell.....

    Good luck to everyone else:T
    xx

    Vouchers through surveys/shopandscan: £10/£250
    Ebay/Paypal target for 2011: £109/£1000
  • Just had another tally up after some more items ended today. With fees and postage (£63.37!!!) and packaging to date so far have made £92.93 Yeah!!!!! Well on my way to £100 target for January. Yippee, will have to list some more by the end of the day to get to target, but I think I will manage it. Am so glad that I joined this forum, as I probably wouldn't have even bothered. Now I'm nearly £100 richer....not massive amounts in the great scheme of things, but still fantastic for the holiday fund.

Does anyone watch VHS these days? I've just listed box set family film,VHS, never used, sealed. I wonder will anybody be interested. Even in my local charity shop they stoped accepting VHS.
  • I'm on about £50 so far, only 8 items selling though, could do with it all going just for space!
Wierd things sell though, I put on an empty make up case which was part of a gift set a few years ago - now its been bid up to £6 :o I always get nervous when things go for more than I'd have thought! Haa..

My clothes aren't selling too well at the moment either - in fact scratch that they're not selling AT ALL unless people are refusing to bid until the last second! They all end in about an hour so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some last minute bid wars from the watchers...
