Well I'm not happy. Sold a perfectly good internet router on EBay and I've now received an EBay email saying its not working
. It was working fine for the past year until I packaged it all up and was in perfect condition!
Now what?! My auction said no refunds but I feel guilty if it is indeed not working? The buyer seems to have good feedback.
I did however make £30 via Music Magpie with old DVD's I've not used for years so that's something

I hate it when people don't leave feedback. I sold a load of things at the end of November and some buyers still haven't given feedback despite two gentle messages asking them if they could spare the time to do so.
I've given up now :mad:I would like to inform the Debt/Ebay thread peeps, that this morning I have managed to pay off my credit card completely due to my Ebay sales. :money:
Congratulations thats fantastic news!
Well so far out of the 14 items I listed at the weekend, five have got bids on them and seem to be doing quite well I’m hoping they should reach a good price when they end in 5 daysQuite a few of the others have got watchers so fingers crossed they will put some bids in soon.
I’m going to list a few more things tonight so the auctions are spaced out a bit. I have quite a few items of maternity wear that need to be listed which usually sell pretty well so am hoping they will do ok. Once I’ve listed those then I can start sorting out for the next batch of stuff to put on – am doing a little but often to try and keep my momentum up. I’m getting tired quite easily now as I only have another 9 weeks left of my pregnancy so don’t want to overstretch myself too much
My main problem is I need to stop buying bits on Ebay as my profits are being eaten up by my purchases – am just trying to get the last few things that we need for our new arrival though. They are all things we need and I am better buying them on Ebay than new I suppose. Hopefully once we have everything we need I shall start seeing my profits build up into a nice little nest eggOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -

Say I sell 10 things and they all pay through paypal. Once I have all the payments sitting in paypal I go to the account tab in ebay where you can see all the fees and it says how much you owe and there is an option to make a one time payment. So I do that and balance goes down to 0.

4/6 items sold last night - I'm pleased with that :j I didn't make all that much, but that's four less bits of clutter in my room, which is the main reason I'm doing this. The two items that didn't sell were 99p ones so will relist those tonight.0

There is a seperate EBAY board on MSE, so if you get problems like these, its best to post it there as it will be seen by more "experts" than here.
If they put in a paypal SNAD (Significantly Not As Described), then Paypal will request that they return the item to you for a full refund, so I would offer that as a starting point. Just reply similar to "Oh dear, was working well when left here, if you return it to me (xx address) I will check the item against my serial numbers and paperwork and will issue you with a full refund."
You haven't any choice as Paypal will side with the buyer here. Of course, they have to return it at their cost (was it an auction though or a Buy It Now??) and you dont have to refund those. Don't tell the buyer, but they too have to prove you have received the item (IE recorded etc) so you know it has arrived with you.0 -
Where is the WANTED section on Ebay? Can't find it anywhere so its probably in front of my face!!10K in 2010 = £55580

Sold 2 more things through work, well 2 lots of 3 things that weren't really suitable for ebay - £6 into the pot.
