Completed my listings :) Had a good day sales wise (sold x 14) - but 11 still left to pay. So need a visit to the post office today, but children on half term. Did not think this through - children and post office queues do not mix!!!

lol :D I have items ending every night from tomorrow  I'm secretly hoping no one would bid :rotfl: they're only my 99p ones.
I sold 1 item item at the weekend that needs posting. I'm doing my revising now and adding photos. My total is 130, only managed to do 30 new ones. lots of relists and 99p's. And a couple of mock ones. 6 items have bids. And someone asking if I'd take an offer for an item and end it early, I'm thinking about it.
well done all. I hope we get lots of bids!
  • Well done to everyone, even if you only listed one item, it's a start.

I managed to list 33 items - though 11 were relists, so cheating a bit.
Plus I need to fill in the details on some of the listings... will do that later on this eve. Worst.job.ever.dot.com

    Hi all,

Congrats to everyone that managed to get some listings up over the weekend.
I'm really trying to get back into this ebay malarkey, and managed a total of 8 listings (including 4 relists) over the weekend. I was feeling really unwell over the weekend though, and already have 2 bids so far, so I'm happy with that! I really need to work harder to get rid of all my clutter!

Just a quick question - does anyone know if you're able to block specific bidders? My winning bidder never did pay for his item (and has oodles of positive feedback with "fast payment" written all over the place!) so I'd like to block him from bidding on any of my items in future if that's possible?

As an aside, I find it really annoying that people don't pay! I'd never dream of bidding on something and then just ignore all the emails etc after the item ends. Luckily I was able to relist it for free over the FLW, and get a credit for the FVF, but that's not really the point! Ok, rant over :o

  • Love this thread, read it all the time and love hearing how you are all getting on. Had to post though because I had someone Buy It Now on one of my items, then two days later emailed saying I will pay in the next week, hope you don't mind!! I emailed back saying BIN is exactly that!! Why would you do that? Gotta love ebay.

  • ^oh dear, how annoying. I suppose at least they intend to pay... I've had people BIN, then never even bother to contact me let alone pay.

I've just listed another item on BIN at £30 plus p&p. Have priced so it's cheapest on ebay so fingers cross someone buys. It's in a HUGE box so it'll be nice once it's gone.

claudiac if you list a Buy it Now auction as you scroll down there's a little box that you can tick which says 'immediate payment for 'Buy it Now' auctions so they have to pay there and then. I always tick this box on my Buy it Nows.
    Hope that helps :)

  • No work today, almost 3pm have listed the grand sum of two items....pathetic intentions are good but totally unmotivated :(

Going to give it up for today, start preparing something tasty ready for a lovely evening with bf tonight, and start afresh tomorrow

  • I know the feeling _sleepless_. Sometimes you really can't be bothered. But I'm starting to get back into it, will be listing my scheduled ones tonight to end on Sunday.

Do any of you know if there's a way of knowing who's left you a low star? I'm disappointed to find out that I got one on p+p. I have about 5 to choose from and I think I've narrowed it down to 2 but can't be sure. I have positive comments and no mention of high postage. I think it's about 60p on top of the actual postage, is that too much?

I charge about 30p more than the actual postage, mainly to cover paypal fees. I always use recycled packaging though... so if you don't, I think 60p extra is ok as you could always say that's what your packaging costs. (it is P&P after all)

Well 4x of my items listed at the weekend have bids on them already of £37.97, so it's looking good already :):):)
