Doh I thought I was doing well with 18 listings until I read that!!
I have 2 bids now which is very exciting on the 1st day of a 7 day listing! Am going to be sensible and wrap both items tomorrow with a label of what it is on the outside. That means if other items sell at the last minute (fingers crossed), the boring wrapping load will be reduced slightlyOne step at a time0 -
I've managed to get 8 listed. Not as many as I wanted, but am ill and need to go to bed.

Completed my listings
Had a good day sales wise (sold x 14) - but 11 still left to pay. So need a visit to the post office today, but children on half term. Did not think this through - children and post office queues do not mix!!!

Thanks jennyjj for that advice.
I did have a big photo session and I have one of those small light cubes for my jewellery so I can get decent photographs of small items. Still only manage to list 15 items as I was away yesterday. But I so far have 4 being bidded on and 1 item being watched. I will not make much but it is better than nothing.
Can I do up my descriptions and photos on ebay but not list them until there is another free listing weekend?Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%

yes you can, on the right hand side when you are putting your stuff up, to start with, should be something about scheduled listing. So you can list your stuff to start in 3 weeks, and if there is no free listing in 3 week, change the date again.

Hi everyone, think i joined an old version of this thread but my life kinda fell apart, and i totally lost my motivation to ebay but now i'm back and i will regain my ebay mojo this year. I have set myself a target of listing one item a day (i can do them any day but need 7 by the end of sunday, and extras do not count towards the forthcoming week). So far i'm doing really well (progress in my sig) so i'm pretty chuffed with myself and i have this week off work so intend to ebay even more. Also hoping joining this thread will motivate me even more

Use the scheduled listing feature, write your listings schedule them for the furthest day possible. When it is a free listing you go back in and edit the listing to start immediately. It will appear you are racking up fees as it's 6p per item to schedule, but you don't get charged until the listings actually go live.
Just don't forget about them, or you'll get charged the normal listing & the scheduling fee

Love reading all your posts and would love to join in too. Started with ebay about a year ago as I had always said it wasn't for me but I have been reasonably successful with the things I have listed so far.
Listed 12 items over the weekend, got watchers on 3 and had a couple of questions so here's hoping. Set ending time for 10 days thinking this would give maximum exposure - don't know whether ending on Sun eve is a better idea. Oh well time will tell.
Got rid of most of the larger things now so only finding bits and bobs as we go along. Before chucking anything out or charity shopping it I always think can it be ebayed first.
Good luck everyone and many thanks for the motivation.
