  • I'll aim for..... 30 listing tomorrow, but that includes a few relists from last time around.
Any more than 30 will be a bonus :)

It's been so dull all day that my photos would've looked naff if I'd taken them. Will try earlier tomorrow and maybe just write out my listings today in Notepad.
  • I have listed 6 so far and already I am starting to fade. But I will keep going. I have started with all my beads so I have 52 more to list and that is not including my cross stitch items and any clothes I was to list. Think I wil do the descriptions first and then add pictures as it is taking a while for them to upload. I have listed most items at 99p but can't see them going for any more than that but if I got that for every item I could make £50....not bad if it did happen.
    Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%

    Mortgage £99,692/£51,652.33 51.8%
    Car Loan: £9,217.20/7,527.38 81.67%

Right, last night I relisted 2 items to end tonight. 1 has a watcher. I will re-relist for 7 days if they don't go! I've added another 11 and 1 has had 2 bids already and has 3 watchers.

The last 11 items are all 7 days @ a starting price of 99p. I have taken 2 more pics of items to add and intend to find some more stuff. It is not a fun job but will be fab if any money comes back :D

    Good luck everyone ;)
One step at a time ;)
  • Thanks for the welcome.

So, I finally did it. I've listed my first item on ebay LOL.

Great thread, I need to hunt around for bits and bobs to list. I find it hard to think of what people will buy!!

If you list it well, someone will buy ANYTHING.:) you only need to look at ebay to see that there's a market for everything and anything.
If you have an ebay shop, just list in there as Buy it Now and let the listings run and run, occasionally dropping the price on the slow-sellers.
But balance up the cost and time and effort of selling against the benefits of freeing up space and making a bit of money.

That's the hard part, creating a one-off listing with photos and good description is real chore. You need to have a bit of an assembly line approach: Take pictures of all your items first in one session. Then have an edit session to get those pics all organised and sorted onto your computer. Then start writing titles and descriptions in something like notepad. If you have a bunch of similar items, you can make one description and just modify it a bit. Then have a monster ebay upload session.

Try to list at a sensible time around the same time as your buyers will be looking, because if you are listing at silly o'clock in the morning, that's when your listings may end and you'll miss out on last minute bidders.

    Have fun, make money.
If you can't do both, you're doing it wrong.:)

^good advice... though re: having fun... not sure about that, ebay listing will never be fun! :P The most fun I have is when everything is sold, packaged and gone!

I have photographed 11x new items. Got plenty more to do but it's coming in dull already. I really should get up earlier :S
  • Me and Oh have had a mammoth photographing session- uploaded onto mac and a load are too dark too use! Mainly the jeggings, jeans, dark jumpers etc. A lot are bnwt so want decent pictures so I get some of my money back! Currently have 62 listed so not doing too badly :)
    £20 a day April 2014 £834.87/£600 :j
    £20 a day May 2014 £108.45/£600
  • The fun bit for me is getting the bids and not knowing how much an item will sell :D
Got a nice teamwork going on there Natterjack, love it! :)

The bundles that didn't sell last time were listed as individual items for 99p so most of my listing are low value. A few relists. I'll be uploading my pictures tomorrow and concentrate on descriptions now. I have only 4 hours to go :D:eek: I'll stop at 10pm Keep going guys! goodluck!
