Am I the only one desperately hoping that the lots of people who are stuck at home because of the snow will wander on to eBay and bid lots of my stuff which is ending this afternoon!

A quick de lurk on this thread to ask about spreadsheets to keep track of Ebay sales etc I see some people refer to them. Now I can use spreadsheets but always have problems constructing one! can anyone direct me to one or PM with one I can use for my Ebay sales? Thanks

Got a problem, can anyone help please?

I've got an item finishing tonight, someone from Malta has been trying to bid on the item but it won't allow them, they are in a country I post to, I've checked the page where it shows who has bid on your items and not been successful due to too many item strikes etc and they are not on there as having tried to bid and been blocked.

Anyone know why this would happen? Thanks

Hello hope you don't mind me joining. After reading this thread i have been very inspired and have got 36 items on ebay over the last 2 days and will hopefully get some more on today! 8 already have bids on! I am so excited!
A huge well done to all of you, the totals some of you are reaching are amazing!

Im thinking of starting up as an eBay business but wondered if anyone has any advice. I have been doing well selling my private item, I made £300 in January so want to try and take it further. I have been looking at wholesales all afternoon but it seems a bit of a mine field.

Any advice is greatly received

TMD - I had this problem when I tried to bid on a cutlery set. I ended up having to sign up as an ebay seller in order to bid on the set. It turned out to be an Ebay problem and the seller asked me to agree to cancel as I was the only one who got through. So perhaps it's an Ebay issue? Not sure what else to suggest but hopefully, someone else will be along to help in a moment.

Thanks Slipper75, the item ended earlier but only got 1 bid so went for 99p, sold to someone in the UK, had quite a few items finish tonight so waiting for about 12 payments (some only small but every bit helps).

Might do some 7 and 10 day auctions tomorrow and Tuesday as we are away Friday for 3 nights so they will finish when I get back.
