  • Sorry you didn't do too well CL- closer to your £2012 target though.

My lot did OK- will work out profit after posting them. Some were b2s so need to take cost of those off- some bought for £7 went for over £30 :D

  • well done tmd and everyone! My listings did erraticly well last night! (if thats a word) Things I thought would do well, didn't and I had a couple of surprise items that did very well! so just got to work it out now. Only got x8 low start items listed now - out of 99p starts until Feb 1st....
  • that's true, natterjack.
Still waiting for 9 items to be paid for, but I'm going to have to take this week's lot in two trips anyway (I have to walk) as can't carry them all anyway.

Also have the most hideously big item to package up - it's huge, awkwardly shaped and going to take ages to do! Luckily I will arrange for a courier to collect it as it's cheaper that way anyway. This item was something I sold for my mum so no money for me, but at least it's helped her clear some space and get some money towards something that she needs.

100 items is from 1st of the month to the end of the month. So 100 in Jan, 100 Feb, and so on.

3 of my 4 things sold yesterday - all with only 1 bid but were all on for a price we'd be happy for them to go for thanks to free listing.

This means I'm going to be about £145 for January, that'll pay for the bed frame I want if we manage to move house, which is fab.

Didn't list anything else yesterday, life got in the way, but will try and get some things on soon to start saving for a mattress too!
    Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
Initial Mortgage free date - January 2058
    Mortgage as of 1st February 2024 - £159,134.98
    Overpayments to date - £79.62
Current Mortgage free date - January 2058
  • i had another 6 sell (had 67 listed  ) total £99.49
all paid for, so will be posted 2moro
so my total for Jan is just shy of £400. If only I could make that much every month :rotfl:
well done to everyone who has made the effort to get things listed & even if they are only a few pounds better off, it will all add up :T

Good evening all! hope you had a good weekend. Late nights and early mornings for me so feeling knackered. I managed to post 7 items today, 12 still needs wrapping up. I've been filling in my spreadsheet and my actual profit is less than my total bids. Not charging enough on my p+p to cover my fees but that's fine. I'm happy with the money I got for the items that I would normally sell for 50p if I were to do a bootsale.

I'm waiting for my items to finish and not listing new items, I need a break from ebay :rotfl:
Credit_crunch that is cracking total! :T
Yorkielass, how did the viewing go? hope you don't mind me being nosey :D we still haven't found a buyer and the EA haven't sent any viewers at all. I have a feeling they're not pushing our property  or maybe no one's buying at the moment...We're going to lose the house we're buying :( they're very kind as they're waiting for us but it's not fair on them to wait too long so we'll tell to put it back on the market and once we are in the position to buy again hopefully it's still available.
  • merry mary hope everything works out with the house sale. i work in EA & it is so difficult sometimes. I know in NI we are dealing with a huge amount of repo'd properties & also the media are so negative about property prices & interest rates, and have found the frightens first time buyers in particular.
    i have 6 items to post 2moro.
37 items relisted at 99p. put them on for 10 days so we will see how they go:-)
got lots more items waiting to be photographed......
