Hi, just wondering about the selling of clothes on ebay, if i put a childs coat on for say 99p, and it sells for that, if they by paypal surely its hardly worth it is it due to fees etc?
Trying to declutter, have tried facebook but no interest for individual items and have differnt ages so cant bundle much...apart from popping in charity bag, any advice please? x

I always make draft listings whenever I have and put a scheduled start time to the latest available. Usually by that date, there would have been a free listing day so you can just edit the lsiting to 'start immediately.' it's really useful because it means you don't spend hours and hours of your precious weekend on ebay!:o
Make sure you edit the listing before the scheduled start time or it will start and you will have to pay 6p per listing!

• Your listings are doing great, Natterjack.

Only 4 of my items are selling so far... but the strangest one is a top that I bought in Bulgaria for £2. It had 19 watchers (but no bidders). I am curious as to why there's so much interest in it but I'm not complaining. I hope it sells well!

rippedoff3: I'd only list at 99p if I was happy to get that (i.e. if the items were headed to the charity shop anyway). Otherwise why not wait til the free listing weekends and list at a price you think is fairer? That's if you're not in a mad rush for cash/space.
• Hi all,
I have 37 free listings left this month... I'm going to aim to use them up by the end of the month. Not sure exactly what I'm going to list, but I'm sure I'll find something :S

How's everyone else doing? x

How is everyone else doing? I've got 7 left of which 5 end tonight - 2 BIN. So far am very happy - £250 in sales - hopefully everyone will pay as about £100 still outstanding... Though I have to admit that I've purchased about £195:eek: this month from Ebay. I seem to buy more the more I list:o. (Half of this was for my kids and as I've 4 boxes of their old stuff to sell the next FLW will hopefully recoup most of it.)

Go go bidders!!!

Hope everyone else is having a great luck too!

2013 goal is getting rid of all my clutter and it would be a bonus to make
£2000 again doing so!
£291/£2000 = 15%

• All of my stuff is ending later tonight- only got 8 with bids but lots of watchers- and those 8 rack up almost £123 :D
£20 a day April 2014 £834.87/£600 :j
£20 a day May 2014 £108.45/£600
• I have 28 ending tonight, 10 with bidders. Total bids £32 at the moment!
I've actually managed not to buy anything on ebay recently... more concerned about saving money to pay for more driving lessons :S

I still have a few BIG items I intend to sell in the next few months, but also terrified of being scammed so keep holding back. But needs must and I WILL aim to sell at least 2 of them in Feb.
• I've got 31 ending tonight with £65.09 of bids so far plus one that has already finished that sold for £1.99 with free postage (only a DVD). Hopefully will get a few more bids as items are starting to end now.

I have managed to sell 2 items through ebay, not going to make me a millionaire, but it all helps. 1 item sold for charity, and have a bid on another item, a watcher on another.

This is the best I have ever done on ebay!
• Update: 21 left to finish, bids up to £59.10 and have already sold items totalling £27.58, am well pleased.

Bit of a disappointing weekend for me - sold 12/28 items.

Also sold that annoying item that I mentioned a few weeks ago... emailed the guy who offered me £16 for it, and he paid up straight away so at least it's going to be gone. For a few quid less than I'd hoped, but I tried relisting at a slightly higher price than his offer and didn't sell it, so fairplay to him.

ETA: Glad to read you've had a better week than last week, TMD :)
