And blocked her from bidding.
Just listed some Royal Wedding/Engagement newspapers on eBay.com to see if our American cousins snap them up.
A programme went for £120-odd a few weeks ago.
Other than that, I have nowt left to sell..
Sold 7x items tonight... made just over £25. Not great really, but nvm. It's my own fault as I didn't really put much effort in last weekend. It's nearing the end of the month and I've lost my drive0 -
does any1 know if personal sellers can add their holiday details to listings? ive just realised ive done 10 day listings, but im off on hols in 8 days lol! wide awake club as usual lol!! thanks0

I don't think you can put holiday settings on as a private seller, I think you need to have a shop to do that.0

I list in such a way so as to only pay the final value fee, which I think is 10%. This means I use my 100 free listings a month for my 99p items and wait for the free listing weekend for those that I def want to sell for more, but that might not have mass appeal. I don't use But it Now or put a reserve on, and this keeps fees to a minimum. There are no fees on postage, just the final selling price of each sold item.
Then if you get paid by PayPal, there is a different fee mechanism. This is 3.4%+20p for each transaction (so this includes postage)
If you keep a spreadsheet you can get to work out all this for you by having each fee formula in a column and then another column for actual postage costs.
Hope this helps.- Mortgage over-payments to date: = £16,746
- Original redemption date: August 2043
- Current redemption date: July 2041
- Debt: £15,930
- Savings: £12,430

Hi, I think Ebay do charge for fees on postage now.
I'm a power seller and have a business/shop on there.
I'm sure I read it somewhere that they are charging fees on the total we get from the buyer (inc postage).
Whether it's different for private sellers I'm not sure.
If you go into your account and then look at fees, then it should say how much you have been charged and how much your item sold for. Then you can work out how much profit you made.

I just checked my account as suggested and I've not been charged by eBay for anything on my p&p. Maybe it is just business sellers...- Mortgage over-payments to date: = £16,746
