I know what you mean jenyking! I've sold 44 things, and made around £104. Although a couple of bits were sold for the charity I work for so I shall be taking that off the total once I've worked out how much it is +fees.
I was gutted to hear that it's a free listing weekend this weekend as I'm on holiday with work from Friday - Monday. However, that shall not spoil my ebayfever. I'm taking the laptop with me (and hoping reception/the bar area has wifi). I'm only going to relist the 189 items that didn't sell which should only take an hour or two, but I can wait til everyone's gone to bed to do that0 -
I sold 4 things from the last free listing weekend totalling £90.54 after all fees. One of the things was collection only & its a bit strange cos the buyer paid straight away using paypal but never contacted me regardding picking it up. I have messaged them but have still heard nothing back! Where do I stand if they come back & say that they didn't realise it was collection only? Would I need to refund them?Grocery aim £450pm.Spent £519 August, £584 July, £544 June, £541 May, £549 April, £517 March, £517 Feb,£555 Jan, £573 Dec, £465Nov, £561Oct, £493Sept, £426Aug,£496 Jul, £528Jun, £506May,£498April, £558 March, £500Feb, £500 Jan, £490 Dec, £555 Nov,£566 Oct, £505Sept, £450Aug, £410 July, £437 June, £491 May, £471 April, £440 March, £552Feb, £462Jan0

If you are re-listing them all at the same price, just go to unsold and make sure you click on the 200 items per page at the bottom.
Tick all items using the little box at the top and click re-list. Tick all again and submit. You will be done in minutes.
MAKE SURE FEES ARE STILL FREE (IT TELLS YOU IN THE TOTAL), as i keep expecting ebay to start charging you for re-listing this way on free listing days - and i've not used it for a while.0 -
That's such a good way of doing it. I'm sat here in the bar waiting for 12:00 on the dot so that I can do it and then go to bed! I'm so tired after all the travelling :P0

Hi everyone! I haven't been on here for a while but have been listing loads. I got the dreaded message on ebay last night which I knew would happen sooner or later. I can now only list 30 items per month as I have exceeded something or other and the only option left is to open a shop. Is this a good thing to do? I always list over 100 items a month and do pretty well with sales. Am I right in thinking I can still have a personal ebay account as well as a shop? Any advice would be really appreciated!!Sealed pot member #1950 - £44.79

Hi, If you open as a shop then I think you have to register as a business seller and pay tax if you are buying new goods to sell to make a profit.
I have a business account as a shop and also a private account selling my old tat as some may call it.0 -
Got rid of some unfinished cross stitch tonight0

Thanks for that, that's what I would like to do. I have registered as a business seller now so all of my items have automatically gone into 'the shop', how would I go about starting a private account? Can I just sign up for another account? Sorry for all the questions!!Sealed pot member #1950 - £44.79

Hi, yes you need to sign up for a private seller account now. I used a different email address and just opened a free googlemail account.
Good luck :beer:0 -
