Listed 5 things last night on the free listing. They are all starting at more than 99p. Does anyone know, if they don't sell will I have to pay to relist or would it be free again? thanks guys

You would have to pay to relist them......unless you wait for another free listing day :D

I failed at free listing, we went out over the weekend instead for the first time in a month which was nice.

I did put some things for sale up on another forum though (things specific to that forum) and most have sold already and sold a DVD I put on Amazon last week for more than I paid so I'm really pleased. I will get back into ebaying too.

Am going to try and get some things on scheduled listings when I have the time and energy to do it I think ready for next free listing day.

Sorry I've not posted on this thread before BUT is anyone else struggling to get sales on ebay? the free listing a few weeks ago I listed 40-odd items and only sold about 20 (most for 99p each <rollseyes> I've re-listed the remainder again and there's just no interest. It's mostly good quality baby clothes (mostly girls stuff) but I just can't shift it and if I do it's never for much more than 99p. Feeling incredibly disheartened by it all :(

Bitsy, you know that you can put things on for 99p on normal days for free, right? (Maybe I misunderstood your post but I just wanted to check that you knew)

Yeah but you can only list it in one catagory or have I got that wrong? Anyway I am just feeling a bit "meh" at never being able to sell really nice stuff for more than 99p. I've tried a higher price too (and I don't bump up the postage to compensate either) and I still can't sell it.
I never seem to get the 99p bargain when I am buying on ebay :(

Listed a whole bunch of stuff on sunday and already have 3 items with bids and a few watchers on some of the rest. Hopefully most will sell.

Does ebay have the free listing weekends every month?

I've only been doing it for a little while but as far as I can gather sometimes its every other week but then last month I think there was only one. I think I read someone say that they only do it when it's not peak times for selling, although I might have misread that so don't quote me on it :P

Are they small sizes ie 0-3, 3-6? These sizes never sell as well (I remember from selling my daughter's clothes). I would recommend you putting them together as a bundle and selling as a BIN only on a 30 day auction (costs 40p) to list. Much easier :). I only list as direct buy it nows these days as I have found I consistently get a sensible price. I think there isn't much point in selling things under £3 because of fees so I often group small items.

    Hope this helps, Hayley

Yup, sorry. But I'm sure it'll come around again soon.
