Just a record of it yourself at this stage but a buyer may ask for it to match the item when sent.0

I also mark expensive items with a UV security pen AND record serial numbers.
Amazing how many potential returns aren't followed up when you tell the buyer that security markings must match before I refund on an item.
And always send Special Delivery for items worth more than £46.
Sadly, there are scammers out there.
PS my complaining International Bidder is now grumbling about postage (that's why I have UK-only auctions) but says she will pay up today.DEBT FREE! Sep '08/£9,800 in Oct '06 :beer:0 -
Thanks for the tips about the serial numbers. Hopefully I won't need to check them, but you never know.
I have sold the item now for a nice price. Should be a clear £135 once the fees and postage are paid. I'll be relieved once it's been posted, received by the buyer and positive feedback has been left!!!0 -
I've got my first non-payer and I've just had my first negative buying experience too.
Remind me, why do I like eBay again?!Can we pretend that aeroplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars, cause I could really use a wish right now...0 -
I thought I had one of those and was preparing to open a case against him today but he paid last night at 11:50 something!0

well in a bid to make as much money as possible towards our holiday in a few weeks, I listed 49 items of clothes as a job lot. Started them at 99p and guess what they sold for? Yup...99p
Less ebay fees i'd say I made a rather big mistake. Was hoping i'd get something a bit better than that. Even £5 booo
Aaaah well, some ya win eh?0 -
I've managed to sell 6 things this week on ebay which ended today. Pretty happy with that
even if it is only from 99p listings.

I started listing on the 7th of April, and so far have made £149, but £25 of that hasn't been paid yet, and I've got 3 unpaid item cases open so I'll probably never see that money. It makes me so cross, I'm selling stuff because I'm moving house next week so I really wanted to have this stuff posted and forgotten about before then. Why do these inconsiderate people bid, then waste your time having to chase them up? Grr!
Still, that £124 I've made is very pleasing. Mustn't complain.0 -

You probably would have made more money if you included sizes more descriptions etc.0
