  • I didn't have a combine rule for postage so not sure whether I'm obliged to or if there's an unsaid rule that you should combine.

Also the items combined exceed the weight for 2nd class mail so would have to go as 1st.

    you have 2 options
combine the postage and send them together for less cost(or what it costs)
or charge full price and send them individually
or are you planning of putting them in one box but charging you buyer the separate postage costs?

You can send them by standard parcels instead. Or do in two lots and give them the second class rate but tell them it will be two parcels as its too heavy for second class as one, whatever is cheaper.

I always do combined - if someone wants to buy more than one item, brilliant, the more the better
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • It would be sly to send them together and for me to be charged less but charge them separate prices although I'm sure some people would do so.

I'll give them the two choices, 1st class or Standard Parcels and then re-invoice when they decide.

    Hi everyone

Well, I've been listing allsorts of stuff mainly magazines and majority sold for 99p but as I didn't expect to sell hardly any I have sold about 50 since the start of March and have another 60 to go. I'm happy because I nearly recycled them all:eek:
Still have clothes to sell etc and I was really hoping that this weekend would be free listing, but nevermind :(
I have everything good to go -photos ready to upload and descriptions ready to cut and paste:dance:

Can I ask are your magazines anything special... I've got lots...
OH wants me to get shot. do you post standard post or recorded??

    Many thanks

  • My weightwatchers magazines didn't sell when I listed them so they went to my mams to give out at her meeting.

If they had I would send them 2nd class standard.

They are History magazines, gingababe. I make sure they are well wrapped and send them second class standard £2.16 each. If I have to send several, say eight or nine, then I use standard parcels £7.62. I do have some dating back to 2000 to 2001 though. I always get proof of postage aswell.
Hoping for a free listing day this weekend!

I made £100 selling my alto saxophone, which I haven't used for years. Used a parcel firm and cost £8-odd for next-day collection.
Felt a bit sad selling it, but needs must.

No feedback as yet, so hope it got there OK and no sign of the buyer who wanted a refund with no return.

You can't really do anything about it apart from leaving them neutral or negative feedback. It's just unfortunate that some people use the P+P charges as an extra boost to their income :(
