They can do it but its not good practice. I would leave a neg if thats the sort of rude response you got. Just state factually that they over charged £3+ on top of the actual costNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
Free listing this weekend
On 7 and 8 May 2011
£0.00 insertion fee on Auction format listings with any starting price
All final value fees and optional listing upgrade fees still apply
Items listed using professional tools are excluded
Open to all users (except business sellers and below
standards sellers)
Only items listed with the Quick Sell or Advanced Sell forms (Sell Your Item forms) are included0 -
Thanks! That's actually great timing. I have a pair of pretty new trainers that after 2 runs I realise aren't right for me to sell and I didn't want to put them on for 99p.
I need to look out some other stuff now. Hopefully my day will stay pretty free on Saturday now!Can we pretend that aeroplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars, cause I could really use a wish right now...0 -
Free listing = yay!
I'm armed and ready with my camera. Gonna aim for 100 listings... it's quite sad that the prospect of spending my weekend listing on ebay excites me :S0 -
Woop woop! I'm so excited, I've been waiting for this for ages! Can finally get back my ebay motivation (it's been dwindling). On my exel spreadsheet I have 170 items to relist/list and I have several bags/boxes of stuff to list so I'm expecting around 220 items, ish.
YAY!

Putting some more of my books on tonight and then some clothes and phones tomorrow. Debating or not whether to put on this Monsoon top that I have, I love it but it doesn't quite fit over my boobs properly and I have to fiddle it with a safety pin:rotfl:0

You've probably already left FB & the DSR's. but if not that is what the DSR rating system is for. If sellers get too many low stars they lose their selling account.0 -
How is everyone doing? I have done some relists from the last free listing weekend and am now onto new listings, I love free listing weekends and hope I can find lots of stuff. Going to get my DSi XL out later and see what info I input onto it. Got some Lelli Kelli shoes to get listed but not sure whether to put them on my Business account as they are new, I was annoyed the last free listing weekend when I got the message about having one more listing before having to consider being a Business, I get really annoyed as there is a seller I watch who is selling brand new Next clothing with 7 or 8 or each item and are relisting this weekend and they have not been told to upgrade to a Business and they have been selling since Xmas - how does that work?
It's only 10p to list an item as a Business seller now so will put the shoes on my Business account I think, I can put both pairs on and only pay 10p which is not bad, just got to think whether to send Recorded or Special Del.
Hope everyone is listing lots, will be interesting to see who has done the most by tomorrow. Just think, money money money money money!!Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

you are a business as soon as you buy to sell0 -

Yes I know that I've been a Business seller for 7 years, but new items I bought for my girls for them to wear that were never worn and will no longer fit are not Business items as I have not bought them to make a profit on ie 2-3 t-shirts, they will be listed for £1.99 with 75p post when I paid £6 each for them so no profit being made.
I keep all my Business and Personal items separate, just because something is new doesn't mean it has been bought to make a profit on.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160
