I got one of those JML hair clip things from my boyfriend's parents and can't see me ever using it and saw they were going for about 15 quid on ebay. But every time I go to list it on ebay I get a terrible feeling of guilt and can't do it! It seems ok to sell things that I have had use out and just don't need anymore but I feel ungrateful selling it when it's brand new!:o
I listed 60 items this weekend. A few of them are for local pick-up only (exercise equipment) - things I've been putting off selling since forever, so I'm praying that they go as it will make a huge difference space-wise.
Just checked and I have one bid for £9.99 alreadyGood start.

Hi there
New on here. Just wondering if anyone has sold any jewellery on Ebay or any other sites? Have some good quality gold jewellery, some of it unused, that I would like to sell. However the jewellery is not just gold, it is made with precious and semi-precious gemstones and I can't take them to a jeweller because they would only give me money for the gold and not the gemstones.
Has anyone had any experience and can give me some advice pls. FYI - I have never sold anything on Ebay - have on Amazon - and only have access to a computer during the week (i.e. at work!).
Any responses would be appreciated.
Many thanks

Well I only found out it was free listing as I left for my Brownie sleepover on Friday and was so tired on Saturday night I didn't get any ebaying done until Sunday night, was hoping to get the listings written, research done etc beforehand but never mind.
So last week I had 5 things listed, 4 sold (my first unsold of 2011 despite 4 watchers including a couple very close to the end - maybe they had something similar to list too!) but all sold for £3-£7 so on little low cost items, mainly sale purchases that were unused we got all the original costs back. 2 paid for and posted, other two all packaged up and waiting for payment - good job I can walk to the post office in my lunch hour - it would be too easy for all buyers to pay at the same time though!
6 items on for over 99p starts - most not a lot but all items I didn't want to risk going for 99p and then the 1 unsold from last week relisted too.
OH plonked 2 things on my desk yesterday to sell, with no description, information on starting prices etc so saving those for next time!
It's become a bit of a ritual now for me, Sunday evening list 5-10 more things on ebay and package up those I've sold that week - still going with the little and often method as it isn't completely urgent that we get the money/get rid of the stuff - both will just be nice.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

I listed a load of Xmas presents on Boxing Day and made £70. All duplicates or stuff I just wouldn't use, like a fondue set.
I needed the cash and don't need the house cluttering with things I don't need/want.
Some I re-gifted after I got a few 'surprise' presents and had nothing to give in return.DEBT FREE! Sep '08/£9,800 in Oct '06 :beer:0 -

It wasn't a complete failure though, after finding more magazines yesterday morning...I found even more last night! So I have another 29 to list at some point :money:Thank you competition posters!

Hi All
just a quickie everyone seems to be doing great and all still quite motivated.
I have managed to list only 20 items at the weekend -:(
I do however have a plan - I will be working my way around the house listing everything that I no longer want or need - most will be 99p listings and if I get anything for them will be a bonus - they are all, afterall destined for the charity shop.
I will be listing each item 4 times and then putting it in the CS box - my aim is a full declutter by the end of the year.
Good Luck everyone
