  • Have managed 28 items only. I just couldn't face any more!!!! Am an ebay failure. I may get more on this week (although obviously they won't be free listings!) but I am off for half term so will have time to post things etc. Plus REALLY need to earn some cash!! Good luck everyone, hope this week's a good one. !!!
  • I haven't done many either.

Kids are off to my parents next Sunday (my birthday) until the following Wednesday so am looking forward to a bit of peace, sorting out stuff and listing lots on Ebay (mainly Business stuff but will do some personal too).

Feeling rather tired today so will go bed early, will wait until the next Free Listing Weekend and try and do more then.

Didn't get as many as I was hoping but then didn't start until 5pm today. Have now got 46 on in total.

My plan, beginning tomorrow, is to start downstairs and list everything that should be on eBay. Then I shall move to the second floor, the third floor, the attic and finally the garage.

Can say with certainty that I don't need to buy anything to put on eBay :D

Have only got one 99p bid so far. Hope it gets better during the week.

I tried to relist 3 beauty items which I had listed last free listings day (there was a fourth I relisted a week ago), but Ebay wouldn't let me, saying that there was a limit on how many times you could list certain types of items in 30 days to 'protect buyers'. How can that be considered too much?!

I listed 10 items this weekend, will have to add a few more 99p items over the next few weeks...I really hope these items sell to give me the motivation I need!

  • Does anyone put things they have received as gifts straight on ebay without using them?
I got one of those JML hair clip things from my boyfriend's parents and can't see me ever using it and saw they were going for about 15 quid on ebay. But every time I go to list it on ebay I get a terrible feeling of guilt and can't do it! It seems ok to sell things that I have had use out and just don't need anymore but I feel ungrateful selling it when it's brand new!:o

Yep if I am not going to use it then it has to go...I used to feel guilty but figured that I would use the money for me, even if it is for debt repayment;)

Yeah, I sold some items that were given as gifts by close family and also asked my OH if I could put a jacket I bought for him that he never used. I used to feel bad at first but tbh it will help repay debts or pay for other things, including their Christma's or bday's gifts. No guilt now. :D

Hi all - weather really p**sy here yesterday so got 5 pairs of shoes & some drill thingy's of DH's photographed & listed. Had a look this morning - 1 bid on drills with 7 watchers & 1 watcher on a pair of shoes (rubs handies hopefully!)
I think I'll start putting some things by for the next free listing just in case (or will that count as 'clutter' and I'll get a smack :(

Thanks to all for all the advice & motivation :)
