think Ive just hit my monthly limit on ebay as it won't let me add anything else to sell - checked again and it says I have to verify my account, which means verifying my paypal and linking the two which will take up to 3 days grrr - anyone else had this problem?

Am i right in thinking its a new account? if so then yes its the norm im affraid...you could start taking the steps to verify your account so its up and running by next week, you could also list on to turbo lister so when you are cleared all you need to do is upload :D

also wanted to wish everyone a......

yes its a new account, its actually my housemates account and she rarely uses it. Ive set the verification up so now have to check my bank account for the deposits to confirm the paypal before I can link the two - its a shame cos Im sitting in the middle of a room of boxes all ready to be sold!

Added some more this evening. Some books I am not sure will sell - there are sellers on Ebay selling for a higher price than Amazon do new for the same thing. Well, I have priced to be cheaper than Amazon for 2ndhand so see how it goes. Listed some Language courses and Muzzy today.

I am moving to a new build end Jan/Feb time and its completely without carpets so I need as much as I can. I have got a couple of gold sovereigns as well that I keep for "desperation" times. I don't think I can class carpets as "desperation" though, because once they are gone, they're gone? (Wouldn't list them on Ebay either!)

EDIT - Take that back. Just checked out the prices on Ebay and they are only a £ or two away from Hatton Garden Metals prices AND there is no postage for me to pay out. MMmmmmmm

  • Hi all,

Count me in please. Started yesterday and sold an old iPod Shuffle for £25, not a bad start.

Going to rummage around the house this weekend, aiming for £100 in eBay sales in Jan.

    Good luck everyone!

    Brighty.
