can you feel them when they are there? Ive got a wonky cervix, and most tampons are usually uncomfortable because of it (though Im fine with Trinketts ones weirdly!) so im usually a pad girl (or my now trusty trinketts) but I keep wonderinf about getting one of these... just a little scared that if i can feel it im going to hate it??Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0

Building with lego, mine actually doesnt sit too low so i think perhaps it differs from person to person? Even if mine moves down a bit if I have beared down a little (e.g. doing a number 2 - sorry if thats tmi), it will zip right back up again when i am getting on with life.
Trudij - you will feel it the first time or 2 while you get used to it. Once you are used to it you wont feel it anymore. It shouldn't "prod" you like a tampon could as it is hollow and so will go around the outside rather than sitting in the middle(i hope that makes sense)

And make sure you carry baby wipes with you to give it a clean in case you have to use public toilets.
Unless of course you don't mind cleansing it in the sink in front of other people.
I had to give up using mine due to extremely heavy periods, but I never had any problems with it when I used it.
It paid for itself after 4 months or so.Stone walls do not a prison make, nor iron bars a cage.0 -
Love mine
I soak it in hot water for a few seconds whilst getting 'organised' which makes it softer & easier to fold, and not to much of a 'shock' for the system :rotfl:
Most days I can go the whole day without 'changing' so don't have to worry about public loo's

I have to twist it a bit, otherwise I cant get it unfolded all the way, bit of a case of trial and error until you find a way to suit you I suppose, good luck :-)0

Intriguing thread! lol! I've seen these things in Boots but never in a million years considered using them.....and now it's getting commonplace!
What's the deal in terms of hygiene? Is toxic shock syndrome more or less of a risk? and how 'reliable' are they?
Curiosity getting the better of me!0
