Taste radar is good but a faff. You basically enter in all the fruit & veg (except spuds) and you have to put in details (country of origin, date code, supplier, size codes etc) and then rate it on taste, look, smell etc.
Then at the end of each month you send off all the receipts and labels / packaging and they either pay into your bank account or into paypal - up to £25 plus £2 towards postage.
Here it isI've got my own flat :j:j

Hello, hope you don't mind if I pop in every so often and read your diary - it's motivating stuff for others to read - so thank you.
Like others have said, I also live on a budget every month - depending on what outgoings I have, some months I have more but some months I have less to spend. I totally agree - you must have a treat - for me ... my treat is every couple of months to have a facial, pedicure and manicure... just something to consider.
Good luck.

Hi EC - thanks for stopping by!
Don't worry there is no chance of me not including treats......my biggest problem is having too many treats.
Me and my friend used to be terrible - 'treat yourself, you deserve it' was our mantra and in the end we were treating ourselves more often than not
Maybe balance should be one of my 2011 mantras! I've got my own flat :j:j

Hi makeup
I am thinking 'balance' this year too - and calmness and order. Really don't want to spend the year stressing over stuff that I should have just got organised in the 1st place

Hello! I have been lurking around in Pippi's and Cheery's diaries and keep being told not to lurk so I am saying hello straight away!
Good luck with your efforts, you sound very 'sorted' to me :TWeight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0 -

Thanks VL, I love reading others diaries too. It is funny, sometimes have lots to say and sometimes leave it ages before writing anything!
I'm definitely more sorted than I used to be but there is of course room for improvement.
I'm thinking for my Dad's birthday that I give him 'membership' to a monthly treats club and each month make something nice to eat and send it to him??? I know he is trying to eat healthily so I wouldn't send lots maybe a mini cake or a few biscuits or a small pot of jam or something. Might be a fun idea?! not sure about sending food in the post though?? Although I do get those graze boxes and that works ok!I've got my own flat :j:j

Thanks Shoegal.
Well my budget works out at £330 per month for everything which isn't nailed down....
This means food, entertainment, travel, holidays, eating out basically anything where I have any control.
It is going to be tight but then if I can clear it all in 6 months that would be fab!
My freezer is full of food and I did an Ocado shop the other day where I stocked up on basics like couscous, pasta, rice, quinoa etc.
I would really really love to keep my meat box. I'm a complete guardian-reading-feminist-group-belonging-bleeding-heart-liberal:D and I get my meat from an organic farm in Devon. The boxes come to me 8 weekly and so hopefully I can keep that coming and fill this out with veggie meals.
I'm not starting the budget just yet as I next get paid on 20th Jan so this new frugal-tastic budget will come in then!
So I've two weeks to get my head there....wish me luck!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
