  • Mooloo, i have said it before, but i will say it again (and it will most certianly be said again in the future!) You are an amazing woman, an inspiration to many and your family have a saint in their presence.

If i was half the woman you are then i would be very proud of my achievements indeed.

I am so glad you are out the cottage and settling into your new home.

I wish with all my heart that 2011 is YOUR year, that you continue to be strong and that you finally find some stability with your finance and family. Take the rough with the smooth and things will be just fine x

You are often in my thoughts and always in my prayers.

Mooloo I saw a programme about kids snacking too much so they let the children decorate their own little box (stickers etc) and then each day they are allowed to pick 3 snacks to put in it to eat throughout the day then that is it no more snacks. So they could choose things like a piece of fruit/cheese/crisps/crackers/snack pot/jelly pot/yoghurt etc and they went to their own box throughout the day between meals.

Don't know if that would work for DGD?

I shall certainly try. Anything is worth giving it a go.:D

    Time to update.
We got to see the boys today. Thankgod. When we arrived we were a little early, and so was the Foster carer so we got to walk in with them.
DGD and DGS1 hugged eachother and walked in hand in hand. When DGS1 saw me, as he was getting out of the car, he beamed and said Hello Granny. Which is a huge improvement on his speach.
The two 3 yearolds played together well.
Twin2 got to feed DGS2, and even though the boys had the remains of the cold, they were both bright, and cheery. The father of DGS1,was late as well, so we got a few minutes at the end extra as well.
So I was a happy bunny.
This afternoon DGD and I went to have a visit at a Nursery, a few minutes drive away. (would have been walking distance if I had been well,).
They were very nice, and while I spoke to the manageress, DGD played with the children. She was impressed with the big yard and all the outdoor toys etc. She said she would be happy to go and play, so we are having a couple of tester sessions next week, and go live the week after.
They can offer us the full 15 hours, and so DGD can go, Mon mornings, and Tuesday 9-3, and Wednesday 9-3. Leaving Thursday free for our visits with the boys, and Friday for a visit to her Mum and play and stay, and dancing lessons on th afternoon.!

So I am very happy today.
I am also very tired and shall be going up to bed soon.

  • That nursery place will make a hugs difference to you both - she will be exhausted and maybe not tantrum so much for starters;) Glad to see your new start is off to a flying start :D

I agree that is is wonderful news about the nursery and I am so glad that your visit to DGs went so well. I hope that the rest of the year carries on in the same way and brings you much more good news xxx

Just dipping my toe in this morning. Running a bit later then I meant to.
Only woke up once in the night. so that was good. although still disturbing dreams. Mostly about the stuff left behind at the cottage shed that I need to collect.
DGD slept all night, although she was still talking in her sleep. She was also dry, which is good as I forgot the nappy. She brought her potty into me at 7.30am and did her wee for me! So nice, Kids!!
We have done boiled eggs, and she buttered her toast.
Time to get going now. I need to find her swimming things.
Its pouring down with rain here.
Yuk. Yet another day of bits and pieces to get through. Still not been to the top of the garden.! Hoping that the Housing will soon come and sort it out. So that it will be ready for us to use when the weather improves. (although understand that the weather has been against them so far.).

    Catch up later.
