Biggest of Mooloo, has been sent home. Not too successful so she has been booked in for a ceasar on the 23rd May! Unless baby comes sooner now that they have messed her around.!
there are men digging up the road just outside, so thats not helping my headache, or the parking problems outside either.
(With a helicopter flying about too!! arghhhhhh)When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Afternoon, its Sunday already! Where did the weekend go?
I managed to survive long enough to see the Birthday party through until 1am! but somehow along the way I managed to loose my mobile phone! So if the family wanted me, there was no way of contacting me, unless they have stored BF's number anywhere. Biggest of Mooloo has his number and vica versa so I managed to let her know. But he isnt in contact with the others.
Bit of a round up needed later then.
DGD slept all the way through so the babysitter had an easy job.
But I was very tired yesterday. Didnt go out, just stayed in and relaxed at BF's. Did manage to cut up a duvet cover, and cut out a paper pattern ready to put together to make DGD an outfit or two. But cutting out the paper pattern was a bit tough on the back, as his table was a bit too low really, so I didnt dare do anymore.
That can go on my list of things to do, tomorrow.
Lots to do over the next week as always, but this time, its things I want to do, and not the family, so far anyway.
We do get to see the Boys on Thursdays still. For the rest of this month anyway. Then 2 in June.
Today my BF was running in the Oxford Town and Gown race. He has never raced before, and really only just started running this year, so he was really pleased to come in the middleish of the pack. with a respectable 55 mins I think it was.
His daughter, and DGD and I went to watch the start, and the middle, and although we were not far from the finish we missed his finish.!
Typical!. Oh well thats life I suppose.
DGD and I are home now, and she is watching a bit of Tom and Jerry so i can catch up on here, and let those know who I can about my mobile.
I have a magazine to peruse as well. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Morning, not too bad a nights sleep for once. Still feel a bit tired though!.
DGD goes to nursery this morning, so I must get moving and get her breakfast and do a lunch for her. I am hoping to concentrate in the sewing department today. Leaving any housework etc to do when she is back home, and I cannot sew.
(Some of the work will be theory, as I have to sort out a more comprehensive part to my business plan. Especially the costing sides! eek So if the back gets sore thats plan.
Will keep my Skype on so that Biggest of Mooloo can contact me, if she does end up going into labour at all.
Still need to sort out the doctors as I didnt do that either last week. where does the time go?
Right I better get on.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
This is the picture of the walking stick bag, and then handbag that I finally finished off today.
Most of it had been done to show the Business Links people last week, but I hadnt added the handle with the keyfob attachment to the walking stick bag at the time.
while sewing this morning I also trimmed some curtains with some embroidery anglaise lace, and made myself a few cushion covers for the bedroom.
I have pictures of those on my homepage. But I am not very good at posting them in a very brilliant display at the moment.
I had tried to take some pictures of the work room, but with the machine being infront of the windows they didnt come out very well. Perhaps another time. I need some lessons in photography from Molly's daughter I think. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Well I wouldnt go that far, but they will do the job on the tin so to speak.
I have some patchwork denim/style fabric to make another set of bags with.
Hopefully I will have a go tomorrow. But I also have the urge to make some clothes for DGD, and have the paper pattern cut out, and the fabric ready all to pin out. But need to clear a space in my messy area of the work room.
DGD could do with some really new bits, she is growing so fast. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Dont underestimate yourself Moo - they look even better in real life xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Not my day thus far!
BF gave me a mobile phone that they no longer use, so when my replacement sim arrived I tried it, but the phone is another network and I cannot get it unlocked without taking it to a shop. (and paying of course). I have been on the phone and the internet trying to get it unlocked for an hour and a half now. So imagine what I could have been sewing in that time!.
I am going to make a cup of tea as my mouth is all dry, hang out some washing, and then attack the sewing. The phone will have to wait for another day. pity as with DD so highly pregnant I would have liked to be on the mobile phone. At least I have the house and skype if I dont go out.
The to do list is one and a half sides of A4 paper. Lined too!.
Not big writing!.
Ok off of here, and on to the cuppa, and the jobs. The sooner I get that done, I can get the sewing started for the day. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Mooloo, did you try the phone unlocking threads on this board? There is one for if you want to unlock a Nokia, and one for unlocking all other makes. It hasn't let me down yet, or it tells you it can't be done! Or not without paying, anyway.Signature removed for peace of mind0
