I hope you had a lovely, memorable visit with your boys. x
  • Hi Mooloo, a few years ago I bought a small bag, about the size of a make-up bigger or slightly bigger for my daughter's swimming costume. She hadn't the sense to squeeze the water out of it before coming out of the changing room but this little bag had a plastic lining which was great as it stopped soaking everything else in the bag. Just a thought and I apologise if you've already thought of it as I'm sure you have!!

Yes this is a thought, for the future! I do already use Shower curtaining in some of my things, for example the childrens aprons, and makeup bags. So yes a swimming costume, bag would be a good one. Possibly a tote style bag, with a pouch for the costume so that the towel could be carried as well. Possible. I will have to work that one out though.!
There is definitely a lot of things that I can make, when i get my head around things.!
I have not forgotten any of the ideas that have been mentioned, like the tissue covers, the peg bags, etc.
I also want to make some lingerie bags. With applique on the front. Like shoe bags. etc.

I am trying to work on a better business plan and stratergies at the moment, so that I am less "airy fairy" when I go and see Business links again next week.

The suggestion to set up a facebook account is a good one. I need to find out how to accept funds, if its not via a hosting website, like Etsy or Folksy?
So much is on my mind at the moment.
Thats a blessing in disguise as it keeps me off of thinking about the future without the lovely darling boys.
Its bittersweet seeing them, but we all turn up, and play and laugh, and hug.

My neighbour is having a clear out of her attic. She is going to be putting her house up for sale. So she has asked me if I wanted a few curtains.! Well never being one to turn anything down, I said yes.! Wow. Some curtains. I am now the owner of sets of pink, blue, green draylon curtains, a pair of maroon fabric curtains, (which match one of the stripes in my carpet brilliantly, and will be great for winter! And of course will fit as her windows are the same as mine.:T
Then there are numerous net curtains that are like new, and some still in the packets, all brilliant white, and a pair of Sanbourne brown curtains still in the packet.
Also some toy stuffings bags and two teddy bear kits for me to make some toys for DGD!.
I feel so lucky oh so lucky!!
Now I have to decided which curtains and which nets I would use, and where, and then decide what I do with the others. Handbags, cushions or other things, or freecycle. Checking family and friends dont need anything before I do of course!.
Yesterday she gave DGD some lovely toys too.

    Thanks,
Biggest of Mooloo is in hospital this morning, having the baby turned. Fingers crossed no complications or the next Grandchild will be here today!.
I have a bit of a upset tummy this morning, so running very late. Slept so badly, not got the energy to move properly.
Think I better get my shower done, or I will be trying to catch up all day.
Hoping to drop DGD at her Mums and meet Molly to go to Banbury. Need to swap my mobile phone back, now that the other one has been fixed.
If I can find the receipt!
This evening we are off to Oxford to see my BF, and we are going to a 50th Birthday party. So his daughter has arranged for one of her friends to babysit, as she is also going to the party.
I hope I feel better soon! eek

Mooloo - I'd be interested in a swim bag, and personally wouldn't bother having a separate waterproof pouch for the costume, would rather it was all waterproof, as I'm sure DD is just like me and would throw everything in together anyway in her rush. I struggled last year to find a bag that was big enough and waterproof as the children's swimming bags I found were all tiny and she takes in a poncho towel that is quite bulky.

I shall have to get sewing then! see about some prototypes.

I have been rethinking my walking stick bags, and how to add the handle and the keyfob things, so that they can be attatched to the basket on a mobility scooter. Was out with Molly today, and discussing them. The lady in the mobility shop wanted to know where she got her bag from, and so Molly told her it was me. I showed her mine then. But she doesnt think that the owner would be interested in them.! But its a thought to contact a few of them.

I am not feeling too great, it was a bit of a struggle today. But Molly has gone to collect DGD for me. So I have 30 minutes of peace and I can rest before we get ready to go to Oxford tonight.
