    Morning, thanks for the concern.
I still feel odd but its not got any worse. I will call and make an appointment to see the doctors if I can get in.
I think its to do with my nerves, as thats the cause of most of my problems. Perhaps its due to the reduced medication I have been on lately.
Anyway, I dont think its BelsPalsy as Twin2 had that in her first pregnancy, and her face fell exactly like a stroke.
Lasted a good few weeks too.
My face looks the same. So I think its nerves rather then muscular.
I slept a little better last night, thank goodness. and I also managed to sit at the sewing machine and finish off the four small totes, for children probably as the fabric is childish, it was a vynl table cloth originally.
I also had a go at the walking stick bags, both of them are in a part made state.
I got the overlocker out, and had to use a paint brush to clean it, and there was a broken pin in the works I had to remove, before I could use it. What a lot of fluff there was lurking in it. Anyway after plyers and screwdrivers and a paintbrush, its working again now.
Today I am meeting Biggest Of Mooloo, we are going to look for a tv stand for my front room. My Dad has changed his TV, Mum needs a bigger screen as her vision is going, and so his other TV is up for Grabs. I got first Dibs.! (Handy my siblings live in France!).
Right I need a shower, and DGD is still asleep. (being a holy terror last night and still awake at 8.30!).
So fingers crossed I get the shower before she wakes. Or its a Granny where are you!!!! Yelled through the house.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
  • Hi Mooloo, just to say glad you're feeling better and hopefully sensation will wear off. As Savvy Sue said you can always phone NHS Direct if in doubt.

Evening. Another busy day for me, although this morning was reasonably pleasant as I was with Biggest of Mooloo.
We were going to go to MK in her car, but it smelt of petrol, so we took it back to the garage where we got it a few months ago. Luckily its one week within its warranty so we are hoping that they will fix it under that warranty.
So we went in my car then. We went to the AgeUK warehouse where they mostly sell the furniture.
She spotted a chest of drawers, shelf and a mirror that would fit in and go with her bedroom furniture, all for £40, and I spotted a cupboard that will go in my frontroom, (after I took out an old 70's style coffee table that is always piled in my junk) and an office chair, for my sewing.
That will then free my dining table chair to come back downstairs.
So I spent £40 as well!
I am hoping that the cupboard will complement the rather old cupboard that I have already.
The idea is to rehouse the TV and the rest of the gadgets and gizmos that are on the top of the current cupboard. Dresser thingy.
Anyway, I have to tell my Dad now, as I will need him to come and collect it for me as my car is not bigenough!.

We had lunch at hers, and then I came home for my approved food delivery. So the goodies of noodles, pasta, rice, cakes, and biscuits are all back in teh cupboards. Next I need to stock up on the meat in the freezer as I have only got a chicken carcus, and a few sausages. The rest is bits of left overs all frozen!

After I collect DGD from Nursery I collected her Mum from Towcester. We have been out in the garden, pitching the tent to check that its OK for her to use when she works at Silverstone for the bike race and the GP this year.
Then I started to attack the never ending weeds in the front garden for a little while. I have been surfing the net since, and popping on the sewing thread on here. Giving instructions to someone for sewing.
I knew I should be teaching. Haha
My face is still strange, but i am not too worried. I will make that appointment when I have a few minutes!
Twin1 is cooking pancakes for us. (she always cooks pancakes these days). Then I am hoping to slope off upstairs and finish at least one of the bags I started on last night. (I did finish some, but i had about 8 cut out.). I would also like a play around with my new toy, the Memory Slice thing as I have had it for a month now and still not managed to do anything with it.

I just googled Mooloo and found out that it is a place in New Zealand, and the name for a rugby team.
Here is a house on Mooloo Road

What would I give for that kind of house!

Morning, well not a brilliant night, and when I did sleep I had nightmares about working. I vividly remember one last sentance in a dream, that I was being told I had a shift in a pub, that only lasted for 5 minutes (between some others,) and I was expected to travel miles for the pleasure, when I refused, I was fired, and told that Nobody else would have me becuase of my ill health.! So I guess that my pub days still haunt me, and that the subconscious mind is worried about the plausability of me getting some work.

Today I am helping Twin2 to get to her jobcentre interview and then I have mine, so for the hour from hers to mine, I am taking some trousers back to the shop that do not fit DS. Then maybe I can have a look at the odd charity shop. Bearing in mind I do not want to be taking bags of stuff with me to the interview.
Twin2 can either get the bus back or will have to mooch herself while I am doing my interviews.
This afternoon Molly is helping get twin1 back to hers for her Health and Safety check. (that will be a laugh, looking at the place yesterday).
Her daughter is looking after DGD for me. (Mum can do it for a short while, but not for long).
I still havent heard back from the housing, and had to email my pictures all over again to another person. She has promised to call me today. Leave a message on my answer machine if I am not in. I told her that if I do not get a satisfactory reply about the garden today, I will be taking my complaint to the BBC.
(We have a local radio show that does consumer rights programme at 12 every day. So if I have no luck, as soon as I have seen the boys tomorrow, i will be calling them!).
My solicitor was not in again yesterday, and have left a message for him to tell me where we are on the SG application. Not far as I havent signed a single thing.
I am urgently wanting this, so that the start up of the sewing properly and then taking on the SG will allow me to be able to put DGD into nursery next term on a 5 day basis, and claim Childcare tax credits. Which will help with the costs. Currently I am not entitled to that help, just the statatory 15 hours a week at the moment.
So once again my mind is full of things that need to be done.
time to get a move on.

Well the housing are going to come out next wednesday and inspect the garden. Lets hope they agree to do something with it.!

I have been busy all day, and as usually used up my spoons far too early. I did too much all week, and am paying the price. But I am in a bouyant mood, and thats helping me through.

I had an interview with the Jobcentre that lasted for an hour. The lady had to do some research while there as she couldnt answer my questions, dispite warning them in advance about what I was going to see them for.
After I had seen her I went to see the business links person. Low and behold my name presceeded me. He lives in my old village and had been selling books when I had my stall. He looked at my samples and he said that he thought that my ideas were feasable, and I just need to get my plans sorted out on paper. That I dont need to fill in thier very complicated business plan, I can so a more simple one.
I am going to work on the plans and then meet up with him next week. Then if I want to, he will point me in the direction of one of thier members who is a cashflow expert. So we can see what I need to make etc to breakeven, and then to be making enough to live on. (Not that I think thats going to be happening over night some how!).
Anyway, I was pleased with the day, dispite it being a long one. On the way back I collected biggest of Mooloo's and took her to the garage to get her car.
Twin2 was indisposed this morning so I had to get her to cancel her appointment at the jobcentre, and rebook for another time. I told her and DS to clear up and disinfect the work surfaces and clean the dishes with HOT water!. They do have washing up liquid as I bought it for them!.
I didnt get as far as taking his trousers back to the shop though.
My Dad, wonderful man, went to the Charity shop and picked up the sideboard that I had bought yesterday, and my chair for the sewing room. So when I was home, and then when we could actually park outside my house, he came over and brought it in for me, along with a much bigger TV. So I have had help and we have started to rearrange the front room, to accommodate both the TV and the unit. The unit ties in very well with the existing one, (also a charity shop buy when I lived in the big house 3 years ago).
My Mum came along for the ride.
It was 6pm before all that was over and done with.
So its been cooking the tea, and shuffling the small bits of furniture around.
I think I will be having a very early night tonight. As soon as DGD has had her bath, I know we are running very late, I will be having my heatpad and bed!

I was thinking about the bags today, how about making kids PE style bags, like the JJB bags that the teens all like to use. I even use bags like that to separate my daughters toys, eg barbies in one, ponies in another etc.

Another idea I had was (I don't know if you have an embroidery machine) personalised tooth fairy cushions

Personalised fleece blankets for kids and pets

    Just to name a few!

Alas no I dont have an embroidery machine and it would take me quite some time to save up to get one that would be good enough!
I can do some applique still.
Yes I have done pe bags when I was doing the stall. I have a list of around 30 things that I have made/could make But need to concentrate on just a few of them to start me off so that I can produce them well, and quickly. Then I can advance back onto the other things, and it will all depend on the kind of fabrics that I have found on my travels.
If I go into the personalised market too much, it could put preasure on me to make things with in a certain time frame, which will go against the reasons why I am working from home and not going back out to work.
If you see what I mean.
But all comments and ideas are still very greatfully received.
Now I must fly we are off to see the boys in 30 minutes or so and I am still not dressed, and neither is madam muck here!
