Think I may just have to do that. I will leave it a bit later, and see what else I forgot!!
Just been sorting out my contents insurance. Due for renewal next week. Have swapped to a different company, as its £10 odd cheaper, but it also is via Quidco, so if I am correct there is also a £75 cash back later! so that will mean £15 for my insurance for the year. !!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Sorry Gizmo, I realise that its all down to money. I do not think that the twins need 24/7 supervision. What they need is help to do the housework around the children. They will happpily play with the kids, (especially twin2), and then the mess surrounds them. A daily for an hour or so a day would be more cost effective. Possibly an aupair? to help with the children.
But the harsh reality is that they have had all sorts of support at home and still not been able to meet the needs of the children in a safe way, the psycologist wouldn't make recommendations as extreme as she has if they had thought that an hour a day support would enable the twins to parent the children safely and meet all their developing needs.
I know this is really difficult for you but it will hurt you more if you look to find solutions that means the boys will be able to go home when every avenue has been down to acheive this and has been closed off.
Sorry its so difficult for you but you need to focus now on the time you have left with the boys over the next few months.
Take CareMama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -

I jjust still feel guilty and frustrated. Sorry Gizmo you are right I suppose.
I will focus on enjoying the next few meetings. Going to go this week as I missed last week being on Holiday. Have a little present for each of them.
DS has been and collected his sofa bed and a pile of other bits and pieces. Not planned it, so left with only about half his stuff. The room looks like a bomb has gone off.
So I suppose I will end up sorting it out so as to get his stuff seperated, and my sewing stuff can then be stored etc in there. But it will take time.
Feel a bit low that he has decided to actually give up on everything. Although it has been obvious since he dropped out of college really.
Right time to enjoy my book, relax and then feel better focused tomorrow. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
It must be really hard at the moment Mooloo but take heart that you have done evrything you could to help your family, in spite of your own poor health. I can truly associate with some of the heart breaking stuff you are going through - take care.0

Morning,
Well I have had breakfast, had my shower, and done the jobs in the kitchen and the bathroom. Just trying to get DGD to get her clothes on.
No mean feat when she is in the difiant mood she is currently in. She wants the paddling pool up, but I do not have the right connector for the hosepipe here! Have been MSN ing to my Mum and Dad and they are looking me out a hosepipe.
She is one spoilt Great grandchild as my Dad is coming over with the hosepipe now. !
I better get the tarpoline etc ready then.
Molly is coming over to see me later too. Happy days. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Evening already. Twin1 is dealing with DGD, and I have managed to do some sewing this afternoon/evening. I know it was lovely and i should have been out in the garden enjoying the sunshine, but I really needed to sew. So I have made Molly a new walking stick bag.
I have put the pictures on my home page. So if you want to have a bit of a peak then feel free to.
I am not sure what job I will do next. I am washing some dark fabrics at the moment, and will get them dry so i can make some handbags out of them in the near future.
My Mr A delivery has arrived and I seem to have managed to get an extra packet of haslet, so I have put it in the freezer for another time. I dont want to be hasleted out!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Oh my bag is lovely. Thankyou xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Morning.
DGD has been bouncing around on my bed, using my legs as a slide for the soft toys to go down. Then decided that the toy cat and dog needed to have a play fight! I am trying very hard to stop her from always being aggresive with toys. Not working very well!.
This morning I am taking her Mum back home, and possibly dropping her in Northampton for an appointment to do with drawing up a CV, but we have to check the time for it first cos she cannot remember.
Then this afternoon Molly and her daughter are coming over. One to help me start on clearing up DS's messy room, and the other to keep an eye on DGD while we do it.
Looks like another lovely day, so hopefully we will get some time in the garden too.
I tried to re string the strimmer yesterday but I am doing something wrong as only a few seconds into it and all the string was in 4" or so pieces? So its cutting itself? Back to the drawing board. It must be something simple but then at times so am I!
I have an other extention lead (with auto cut off), and so we can now get the strimmer and the lawn mower to the top 30ft of the garden! Its already very overgrown.
My mobile phone has decided again to stop sending and receiving text messages which is highly annoying. I have to take it to a carphonewarehouse shop. See if they can fix it. But I am not happy with it. Its done nothing but go wrong since I got it.
Right its time to get dressed and get moving. Or we will be chasing our tail all day, and i hate that. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
