Evening. I am thrilled to find that there has been a purchase of another of my bags on ebay! On a buy it now too! I am so thrilled. The lady who has bought it had one of the other bags last week! So I must be doing something right!.
Its been a bity day as predicted. But has been hindered by the sciatica getting so much worse. So I have also been back across at the doctors for me, and have had to have my gabapentin upped, and my tramadol increased back up again!. I am also told that the patches on my knees and hand are psoriosis! So I am a bit miffed. (My Mum has psoriosis, and has had it since she was about 6!).
Anyway, DGD has been asleep for about an hour and a bit, after having had her injections this morning, and been out in the fresh air with Molly's daughter for me. She took her to the Park.
I posted off a parcel so watch out in the morning MatyMoo!.
Had good feedback from another bag that I had made to order too.
I shall have to think about a few other things to make or I will get a bit sick of just bags. However they are something that I have been hopefully mastering and improving on. But tonight I think I will have to have a good soak in a hot bath, and use my heat pads!

Mooloo, have you looked at paying for your postage by Paypal? Its so much easier, no cash needed and you just hand it over the counter at the post office. You would need a printer and paper to print out the adress labels, sticky tape to stick them on and kitchen scales to weigh the parcel.

I keep meaning to, but forget. I think that the hanger bit would need to be investigated though. As normal hangers may not be curved enough, and then they tend to slip along the line too?

I did notice that there was a print your postage part to it, but wasnt sure if there would be additional costs there?
I will need to invest in a better kitchen scales! Perhaps it would be a way to go, but at the moment as I am just starting out I dont mind going to the post office. I have to go to post anyway.! Definitely something that I will look into as well for the near future though!.:T

You know what I've always wanted a little bag to put those packet's of tissues you get in. I've seen the ones that are split open down the middle but I'd like 1 with a little flap over the top with a press stud or velcro or similar so you can close them up again. Or would that be too fiddly?
Just a suggestion, so glad thing's seem to be on the up for you Mooloo, all the best for you & yours. x

In my experience it doesn't save any time at the post office as the post master still has to input the details of each parcel onto his machine to produce a barcode sticker for the parcel and proof of posting for yourself. The only advantage is not having to find cash to pay postage, it can come from Paypal funds.

I will bare this in mind for when I dont have any cash! At the moment I am trying to leave the money in Paypal account until just before we go on our holiday in a couple of weeks.

Just been bombarded with another lot of Cath Kidston emails! Seem to have a problem as then send me 3 copies each time. Could that be becuase I have purchased from them 3 times?

Another vote for peg bags here, I haven't been able to find one that holds a decent amount of pegs. At the moment they end up all over the lawn.
