Panic over, Twin2 now says that the pregnancy test was negative today! What a scare.
She is still in town, not home yet, worried about her, but what can I do.?
My sciatica is terrible today. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hi Mooloo,
Thinking about your garden; have you considered a "garden share" scheme? ..Where someone who wants to garden but has no land, is teamed up with somebody else who has a garden they can't manage.
Hugh F.W has organised a countrywide scheme (details are on his River Cottage website). There are also a lot of smaller local schemes being set up, it could be worth seeing if there is one near you.
That would avoid paying a firm to come in and sort out your garden, you'd get a truly enthusiastic gardener who hopefully would become a friend, and a share of the crops of course.
And I am so pleased to hear Twin2 had a false alarm - that's one problem you really don't need.0 -

Possibly later on a share would be an option, but at the moment its about Safety issues, so that we have to have a safe garden as soon as possible for DGD to play in.
Once it is safe. Then I can work on sharing/ if I cannot manage it. Its certainly big enough. Although the Fostering and Carers things as it is, would mean anyone coming and going in DGD's life would need to be CRB checked. Which puts difficulties in our way!
I am hoping that we will make a vegetable garden that would be good to share, but at the moment, its getting it cleared first.
Re the twins. If I had a bottle of wine I would sit and celebrate! Watch the Rednose Day on TV and relax. As it is, I dont, and I think I will need to be lying down after tea due to the sciatica being so very bad. I cannot remember the last time the pain was so bad that the medication is not touching it at all!
Oh well, its not the norm, thank goodness.
Have sorted through my fabrics to some degree, and have some really good bits ready to make bags, and some for clothes for the coming baby and for DGD. I just have to pace myself better I think.:DWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Whats that song, the kids programmes start... Oh yes, Jump up its the weekend!! Well I cant quite jump but I am up. Was up early thinking it was an hour later! lol!
Oh well the washing up was done, and the tea made, and I had started to potter and it was only 6.30!
The sun is shining beautifully, made the orange curtains give the sittingroom a lovely glow.
The grass etc is all covered in frost. Looks magical. But I wont go out to hang out the washing yet, or i will freeze.
Suppose i ought to get dressed before I do that anyway. Not that I can be seen from the neighbours and the end of the garden is sufficiently far away!.
I did make a bag last night, or nearly. I wasnt happy with the placement of the handle. Thought it was a bit wide so started to unpick it! But stopped to watch something on the Comic Relief. Then I decided it was too late and went to bed. I may get the opportunity to do it later,
The sciatica has eased some over night, thank goodness. It was eye wateringly bad yesterday.
DGD is playing with her dolly. This is pretty new for her. She wasnt that interested in it last year. Maybe they play with dolly at nursery.
Oh, she has just washed her! opps she is a cloth bodied dolly. She will have to go out on the line!
Dolly also needs some clothes, she only has two outfits. So I have plenty of sewing projects to keep me going now.
I didnt hear anymore from twin2, so not sure if she did come back home or not.
Twin1 was not intouch, which is unusual.
DS has dissappeared into the bossom of that family. I dropped a letter of that he needed, (witness statement to a fight that boy had got in!). So spoke to the mother. Goes against the grain, but its not all her fault that her brood are off the rails, the father is the one that set the prresidence!.
Oh well. Such is life. I cannot continue to bear grudges, its just not healthy. I will just have to go with the flow. I dont want to loose my son afterall.
Right, onwards and upwards for the day. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

When I make some for DGD I will make some for you as well then. What size doll is babyannabel? if you know. If not I will have a search for them on the web. See what they are consisting of ect. etc.
Another pack of Premature baby clothes have arrived from my ebay buying. So if the new baby is small she will now have plenty of things to start her off. I must stop buying things now.
If she is not so small, then we will just donate to the Gossett ward. (Prem baby unit where the twins were when they were born.).
I have been to Mr T to get a few bits an blew the budget and spent £60! Eek. Think that if I add my totals up my grocery challenge is going to be scrapping the barrel for the rest of the month.
But in that I did buy DGD some skittles and a magazine, although I resisted a magazine for me, and just picked up tesco's own magazine on the way out.!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Just thinking that those prem baby clothes will fit DGD dolly if not needed by Biggest of Mooloo x Hugs for a lovely weekend......IM SO EXCITED xxxxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Hi Molly, yes I am looking forward to a break soon now. Only 3 weeks really. I will need to get my sewing sorted out, and DGD's clothes sorted.
Biggest of Mooloo is moving today. She has her new house- be it rented, but she is excited as well. She has hated living with her BF's family, and so has he!
They didnt manage to save anything either.
We have been out in the back garden most of the afternoon. Had our lunch out there, and DGD has been playing mud pies!
Loads of washing done, and on the line.
My BF is here and is currently watching the Rugby. DGD is playing in the bath. Trying to keep her up as she wanted to go to bed at 6! Imagne what time we would be up in the morning if that happened. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Morning all, the weekend went by quite fast. My BF came over on Saturday, and we had a lovely meal when DGD had gone to bed, and sat watching TV. On Sunday we took advantage of the improving weather and after a late cooked breakfast we weeded the front garden. Although I doubt that it will last that long.! So many weeds.
DGD was up and down hindering, I mean helping!.
In the evening i was not able to do much, as my back seized up. So I watched a bit of TV and was in bed by 9pm.
My shoulder is aching this morning, but the back is not too bad considering. Luckily.
Biggest of Mooloo has moved into her new house this weekend. She sent a text early this morning, and we shall go and see her after I collect DGD from Nursery. I dropped her off at 9am. Now my duty to the sewing must take preferance. The two bags I had on sold, although I was a little disappointed with the price that one of them got. If I had not had the fabric cheaper then the normal price I would be well out of pocket.! Oh well someone will have a lovely bag to treasure I hope.!
The other bag reached a reasonable price, and i do feel happier about that.
So a trip to the post office as well today.
Now i am off to have a cup of tea, some toast and then get sewing.!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
