Happy Birthday DGD.. all the best people are born on this day...
JUst wish i had buzz and woody.. then again i have winnie the pooh dvd to watch
You sound just like my DD in the car on the way from seeing Mooloo's DGD on her birthday and I quote....
"Oh I wish they had made interactive Buzz and Woodys, so they could talk to each other...when I was little":eek::eek:
Now bearing in mind she is 19 years old, I wonder who will have the more fun when she is playing Buzz and Woody with DGD???
Oh well the moral of the story is never to lose the inner child inside.
Hope you feel better today Mooloo and please call me if you need me xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Hi, all seemed to go very well.
I am not feeling 100% but better then yesterday. Actually slept in this morning.
Had to take Twin1 home, help out DS with busfare, then after visiting my parents, ended up sorting out a debt with Twin2 and the council. So those who know me will say, Why? But the options of her having court cases and extra charges were not really what I wanted to do.
Didnt want to go there.
Anyway luckily I had enough so its done and dusted now. this time.
I am exhausted and so will have to take it as easy as I can today. Need to buy some milk to get through till the morning. There is a parcel I should also collect but I am not sure if I will just wait until the morning. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Ha, I think I would agree. Although I am a little past playing with them now.
I would have loved to have had a jump on the trampoline on the weekend when the others were! alas my neck would not let me.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
There may be good news for twin1 on the horizon, she has had a call about a flat for her. So I am waiting to hear about the information now. Should know more tomorrow. But she will have to up her game if at all possible to keep it better then the little house she has been in.
Have Biggest of Mooloo here changing the beds etc for me, and having a bit of a blitz on DGD's room, and she brought over DS to do some gardening for me, as he needed some money, I am making him work for it!.
Molly's daughter has collected DGD from Nursery for me. So all around I have had help today.
I have managed to cut out some of the letters for some bunting, and ironed them onto the flags. When I am next up to things I will stitch them on.
Feel better for having started. But am tired now.
Rest time. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Sounds like a good day all round! Well done for Biggest rallying DS too.0

Morning,
Well I slept reasonably well, considering my usual ups and downs to the loo of course. But I have a really bad bout of lower back ache.
I am wondering what the reason for this is, as my back has not been the problem for several months. I wonder if it was the position i was in while the Slice was cutting out the letters. All my preparation etc, was leaning over the ironing board.! Or is it just from the change in the weather?
I hope that it will settle soon. Sitting with a heat pad on my back before I do anything else this morning.
Looks like twin1 is to move to a newish flat a few roads back from where she is now. In the block that she is to move to is one of Biggest Of Mooloo's friends. A young girl who also has a child, and has grown up with the twins etc. So that may be a help for Twin1, and will give her a familiar face, which will ease the anxiety that she often suffers at changes. Luckily they have told her that she will get the Keys on Monday, so thats so fast she hasnt had time to be anxious. More excited as she really hates where she is, there has been a lot of hassle where she is, and she has longed to be moved for over a year. I am hoping that this flat will be a new start for her, and to get her more interested in her home around her. (We can pray at least for that), any step foreward would be a good one. She will need help with Furniture (where she is is furnished), and she will also need a months Housing/Rates benefit overlap sorted out, as she didnt have time to give a months notice to the housing association that she is currently with.
I must remember that I cannot do anything physically for her, and after just having to bail out her sister from the Courts, that I will not be able to fund her.
I can however dig through my furniture and see whats excess that she could have.
I can sort out some curtains, as I have loads of spare ones. (Having moved so ofter).
I can let her have a single matteress until she can get a bed at least. But I dont have the bed frame anymore.
I can give her plates and cuttlery. As I have had to change my plates to Melamine ones as I cannot lift the weight of normal plates anymore.
I can let her have a coffee table, and probably even one of the kitchen/dinning tables really.
I use them more as a junk collector! If I dont have them, then perhaps I will have to put my junk away instead of straight onto the table when I get in the door!. We will see what is suitable. Thats just a list off of the top of my head.
Right I better see if I can get on and put the washing on etc. See if I can do a little bit before DGD wakes up. Unusual for her not to wake when I came down the stairs. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Don't forget to ask around friends. You'd be surprised how many people have chairs, tables etc hanging around that they don't really want. Anything will do to get her started and settled into her new home. x0

Oh thankyou everso much. I have just got off of looking at her website. Her newest book, Patches has just been released, but it is £16 so I will have to wait a little bit, as I have spent a lot lately!
Perhaps I will go and get the news paper for once!
:T:T
I have been doing a little bit of hand sewing today and last afternoon. But I get sore so soon. However I have managed to finish my little block of 6 x 6 squares and added them to my little patchwork, aiming to make it into a quilt. Its all the scraps from the bags etc that i have cut out, so my squares are only 21/2" ones.! It will take quite some time to make a quilt. Especially as I am sewing them by hand while watching the TV or correction DGD is watching TV. I am sick of cartoons etc.! At least it distracts me a bit.
Mollys daughter came over for an hour this afternoon and it gave me a chance to have a nap. Although DGD decided to creep up the stairs and wake me, so it was a very brief nap!.
Time I was making our tea.!
Spent a while on the laptop, but have my neck collar on so that I cannot put my head in the wrong position as much.
Not going to the BF's until tomorrow. If I am up to the drive we will see.
Ps. Hope the amazement is a good one and not a bad one? When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
