I have a Self tax reminder.! Didnt know I had to do that. So a tax return has to be sorted out before the 31st January. One more thing to add to the list of Paperwork jobs.
Mooloo - this is important: if it is not returned by 31st Jan you could be liable for a fine. It also is too late for a paper return, that deadline has passed.
The 31st Jan is the online deadline. And it takes a week to receive you online login once you apply for it online....so try and apply for it tommorrow online and you will beable to be on time. (ig nore me if you have done it online in the past and already have your login details.
    Back to lurking:D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

would be nice if it was applied to all posters, wouldn't it?

Well I have been away for less then a day, and the tone of my thread seams to have gone "t*ts up!"
It is funny that the original poster who asked a question, has not complained that anyone was being out of line.
I am sorry, LilacLouisa, I do not reconise you as a regular poster on my thread, but I feel that it was your postings that were feeding the "fuel to the fire".

What ever my reasons for posting on here, and I am aware it is an open fourm. My reasons are becuase when I started I was practically house bound. I was living in a new flat with no support and nobody to turn to.

I wouldsay to those of you who have read my thread, that I have been open and honest, through the ups and downs, and that in the best part of 3 years, I cannot remember many occassions when this thread has gone off topic or been "rude" to anyone
I have read what Molly said, I didnt find it "rude" just to the point.

It is difficult for people to understand why any thread is in any particular section. Perhaps the poster could only see the last couple of pages and didnt know/thought needed to know the past posts.

anyway now I digress the thread myself!

Lets all start again shall we.!:D[/QUOTE]
I am not a regular poster on this thread, does that matter?, but I am a regular reader.

I considered the reply from Molly to be rude and aggressive (that feeling was reinforced by yet another poster posting "Go Molly" etc) although a previous reply from Ball and Chain had been courteous, helpful and to the point.

Padstow didn't complain as far as I know, perhaps he/she had gone to read the whole thread or maybe they were put off altogether by the reply from Molly.

If the tone of the thread had gone t*ts up, as you so charmingly put it, it was because of the abrupt reply to Padstow from Molly.

Fanning the flames? by feeling sorry for another poster? dear heaven.

I didn't make any criticism of you or your posts, nor did I need a resume of your previous circumstances as I have read the posts from the beginning. As far as I remember I made no mention of you at all, so why the need to be so defensive?

No need to answer, heaven forbid that the thread should go t*ts up again!

Have been very ill over night. Didnt feel too brilliant in the afternoon, but by the time I was making DGD her tea I felt sick. Continued then to be ill all night. Now that has the knock on effect of my tablets not staying down, so "withdrawal symptoms" also causing me to be in mega pain.So frustrating.
Struggling to sit up, without feeling dizzy and nausious.
Didnt help that DGD has been up since 5.45 and is not leaving me alone. Has to sit on me, cant sit on the chairs, or her bean bag etc.
How come kids seem to become limpits at the times we want rest and peace?

I will see about the tax returns stuff later. No I havent done it. Wasnt even aware I had to do it. Not having an income. But forgot that as a Foster Carer I had to register as self -employed. even though I dont earn a wage.

Maybe I will feel a bit better later. Going to try to take my tablets this morning and see if I can keep them down! I really could have done without this at the moment.

Sorry you are feeling awful. Can you sit DGD infront of a video or DVD to give you some peace?

    Hope you feel better later.

Yes I am trying to get her to watch the TV. Any other time and i have to stop her watching it!.

Taken meds, now trying to keep still and rest. She is eating a yogurt, what a mess! Going to leave the laptop alone for a while.
Rest up as best as I can.

    Thanks x

I read this thread daily and post occasionally. I have never found anyone to be rude or aggressive on this thread. Padstow asked a question and it was answered. Padstow has never posted again for his/her own reasons. The only person I can see who is keeping this going is you, so you must feel bothered or annoyed.

This is an open forum and everyone is entitled to their say and opinion, you included. On this occasion though, I would leave it here, you clearly don't like the tone of this thread, there will be plenty more that suit you. I would move on to another thread that you feel more comfortable in. Just bear in mind though, this is an internet forum, I just don't see the point of confrontation on these, I know plenty of folks 'get into it' though.

Have a good Monday everyone. x

I had to come back on just to share some good news.
Biggest of Mooloo has just had her scan. They believe that she is expecting a Girl. That will give me 2 of each! Yipee

On a good note I seem to hve managed to keep the meds down so far, but struggling to just sip water.
Time I tried to make the effort and get us both dressed.

Been whiling away the morning on here "surfing". Trying to keep myself occupied and ignore the tummy! DGD is playing with her craft work, PVA glue! and a glove puppet. What a mess, but she is quiet and having some creative time.
