would be nice if it was applied to all posters, wouldn't it?[/QUOTE]
Well I have been away for less then a day, and the tone of my thread seams to have gone "t*ts up!"
It is funny that the original poster who asked a question, has not complained that anyone was being out of line.
I am sorry, LilacLouisa, I do not reconise you as a regular poster on my thread, but I feel that it was your postings that were feeding the "fuel to the fire".
What ever my reasons for posting on here, and I am aware it is an open fourm. My reasons are becuase when I started I was practically house bound. I was living in a new flat with no support and nobody to turn to.
I wouldsay to those of you who have read my thread, that I have been open and honest, through the ups and downs, and that in the best part of 3 years, I cannot remember many occassions when this thread has gone off topic or been "rude" to anyone
I have read what Molly said, I didnt find it "rude" just to the point.
It is difficult for people to understand why any thread is in any particular section. Perhaps the poster could only see the last couple of pages and didnt know/thought needed to know the past posts.
anyway now I digress the thread myself!
Lets all start again shall we.!:DWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
BF has gone now. We had a quite evening. DGD went to bed without a murmour. (Wish the influence of BF would keep it that way!).
She didnt have a nappy on, and was dry. She used her potty and sat playing in her room. (We were listening to her). She played happily for nearly an hour. Talking to her toys etc.
BF helped me by cleaning the windows, so we can see out now Molly! Mind you that means nosy people can see in too! Must find the voiles.
We have finally cleared the sitting room of all but one box. That is a box of twin1's things. So she can sort them on her next visit and take them to her little home.
We started on the boxes in my room. But there is no storage for them.
The garden has been "levelled" with a lawnmower on Friday. But in the light of day, this has just layed bare the dangers that are lurking below.
There is broken glass, bedsprings, corrugated iron, chicken wire, broken bricks and the like. So it is not safe for DGD to play in.
We will need to get the Housing Back to sort that out.
I have a Self tax reminder.! Didnt know I had to do that. So a tax return has to be sorted out before the 31st January. One more thing to add to the list of Paperwork jobs.
There was a letter advising me that the DLA are sending someone out to me to do a medical in my own home To see how I cope. I will hve to call them as it was sent to my old address.
The Xbox that DS took is for his birthday. Its just that its not his birthday yet! Thats on Tuesday. So now he will not have a present to open on his birthday. So it spoils the whole thing. Thats why I am upset.
Now this afternoon I can relax a bit more, and make sure i am more organised for the week ahead. DS's 18th and BF's 50th!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Maybe you could give him a couple of cheap but useful things to open on the day. Primark socks are really inexpensive and maybe some Poundland toiletries. Don't know if you have those shops near you though:rotfl:
I check up on you every day that I am on line Mooloo and am amazed and impressed by your ability to cope with whatever life throws at you and it certainly sends you some real stinkers :THaters are gonna hate - you're not obliged to participate0 -

Good ideas, I will have to find time to get to town. Brackley doesnt have any cheap shops, still need to explore what it does have. Will go to Northampton I think. As I know where they are there. But must learn to investigate Banbury now!.
I have decided that if I get all the stinkers now, perhaps I will get all the scented flowers in my next life! (or when I am old and doddering!).
Its surprising me that so many follow me actually. When I started it never occured to me. It was only when I saw the figures a few weeks ago, on the end of the last thread that I realised people really were following me.
Now someone mentioned writing a book. I have thought about that. Many a time, but didnt think that it would be of any value to be read. Maybe I will have to rethink it!
Not that I could compete with a best seller! haha! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well, Julie/Julia started a out as a blog, then became a book, and then a film with Meryl Streep!0

he he, thats what I am really! a hopeless wreck! Certainly how I feel often. and if not hopeless, I feel a wreck! either way works to describe me often!.
Not so sure I can get used to people thinking I am amazing. But I appreciate the thoughts. Maybe it gives me something to aspire to actually being.:DWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Now to a most important question! My sister lives in Dunstable and when we came down to visit last year we passed through Towcester on the way to Coventry and we started discussing the pronunciation. Soooo - is it Toaster or Tochester or something else completely? :rotfl:Haters are gonna hate - you're not obliged to participate0

Its Toaster I think! Old Roman town situated on a very straight roman road - now the A5.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
