Mooloo's New Home, New Year and New Start part 3

I felt tired most of yesterday and went to bed at about 8pm when DGD went to bed. However she didnt go to sleep and just as I was nodding off she came knocking on my door saying she was hungry etc. And she had already raided the fridge for some bananas.
It was nearly 10 before we got to sleep in the end.
I had quite a lot of weird dreams and interuptions of my own after that!.
I had my ears sorted out, so can hear again, but have a mild ear ache since.
Biggest of Mooloo is bringing baby over this morning and I am going to babysit for a little while while she gets her tyres on the car changed.
Hopefully she will be OK with her Granny and not want feeding.
My BF is not coming over this weekend now. He had too many things to do at his end. I would have liked his help to put up the swing seat that he had bought me for my birthday. Itching to get it up and give it a try!. Oh well, I suppose it will just have to wait another week or so!.
He has suggested that we go down to his instead, but at the moment, I am not sure that I can be bothered.!
I do have a card for his sons birthday tomorrow. But I was down there on Wednesday night, and the weekend before. I just feel I want to be in my own home. I never manage to get the garden up to scratch, and other things that really need doing as I have to do things at my own pace. We will see how I feel after lunch.
I am doing a little of twin1's washing, that she asked me to do yesterday, as it was piling up at her sisters. But its only two machine loads so not too bad.
DS is waiting to hear if he can get help with his housing at the Stable yard where twin1 lives. They said that they will let him know next week.
He is due to go to scotland with his girlfriend on Tuesday. So I hope that he sorts his accommodation out first.
I overspent yesterday with my mr T shopping. I spent £110! But £47 of that was ink cartridges for my Printer. I need to use the printer for some letters I needed to write, (£176 of bills to Social Services for a start), and follow up letters to housing as they didnt get back to me.
And I have a few PDF patterns to print from my sewing things needed. There are a few different handbag shapes that I want to experiment with. Especially want to do some that have more zips in. I want to practise the zips as they seem to be my nemisis at the moment.
Considering I used to replace zips for the dry cleaners years ago, I havent a clue why I am struggling at the moment. So practise makes perfect.
Right I better get on. Things to do around the house while I still have energy and time before baby arrives.
Have a good weekend all. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I get my geniune ink cartridges from Amazon. I make sure it is from them and not one of the people who sell through them because I like the genuine article. I think mine work out about 20% cheaper from there. Worth a look. x0

cartridge monkey through Quidco are good to look at next time as well0

Feel a bit brighter then I did earlier, going to have a cup of tea, and hang out the washing, see how I feel after I have done that. may have a go at re organising a bit of my bedroom if DGD will let me of course. She is one for wanting me in her sights all the time now. Rather annoying at times, but normal I suppose for two people who are together all the time. She definitely doesnt like sharing me. She was a little put out at having the baby this morning. But when I got her to hold the baby as well she was better. Luckily she is adaptable and easily encouraged to do other things then sulk or pout! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

Mooloo - I've missed your birthday - been busy with loads of family stuff and problems with my youngest's freind (mother drinking, being abusive to the child and the ensuing drama)
But HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY xxx
:beer::beer:
PS
Sorry about biggest - but a first baby is a wobbly time for relationships, it'll sort itself out in time xx
Take CareMama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -
Well I have just spent about an hour and a half listing about 10 items on fleabay for my sewing things. Decided as it was free listings that i should give it a go. By the time the commission to the shops were taken off then i doubt I would be getting much more then I will the other way. We will just have to see.
However now my neck and wrists are in agony to say the least. Struggle to be on the computer in this position for so long.
Was going to be putting other stuff on, but wasnt ready with pictures and I am here in Oxford for BF's middle sons 21st birthday. Had to nab the internet connection off of two teenagers is not too easy.
Back home tomorrow. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Thanks Gizmo,
Dont worry you have enoough on your plate. I have been in similar situations with friends of my children having similar problems when they were younger. (Thats funnily enough when I first thought of fostering would you believe!).
Biggest and her BF are talking and seem to be trying to sort things out. He has been told off by his mother I think!!
Biggest is talking of baptising little one soon. Although it will be in a different faith then we were brought up in, but thats thier choice.
I have bought back the twins christening gowns from my BF's. (I had them in a drawer there), Not sure that they will be of any use, but what I am thinking is that I can use the fabrics for the clothes that the premature baby unit want.
Right, BF has just text me to tell me where we are going to stay for our holiday at the end of the month.
I am really thrilled. Although we are going self catering this time, we stayed there when the hotel was first built, when we stayed as All Inclusive residents. (In the days when I still had the pub etc). We took all of the kids except Biggest, she was back home running the pub for us!.
Anyway, I can relax now as I was worried that we would not be able to book anything as we were leaving it so late, and the prices were going up everytime I did a search.
The Housing have just telephoned, and they are sending a man from Rentokil around to check the back garden out this evening. He is going to see what he can do about the glass/sharps etc that may be in the garden.
Lets hope that he can help me, and that we can get this garden sorted out soon. I am so fed up of waiting for someone to come out and see whats needed doing.
Could August be an even better month then July?
Although there are troubles at mill with the twins and DS. But thats another story, and I am not actually involved this time! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Can you clear your PM box as you have exceeded your limit. Hugs xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
