I have no experience of ebay and if honest would have to say it is a bit daunting but maybe as I get a little more confident this will come as have tons of 'stuff' which would probably sell and would go towards other house essentials, like a shed door!!

Hiya, I sell quite a few things on ebay (when I get round to it!) but I'm also on Facebook and there are few groups where you can 'sell it, swap it, give it'. I've sold some things from there, as has OH, as well as buying a few too. If you are on FB try typing 'sell' and the name of your town into the search and see what comes up.
We also sell a few things via the local paper free ads and when the weather gets nicer, at carboots. As already mentioned there's Music Magpie, which I've never used, but we have a local CEX shop and you can check what prices they pay in cash or trade in vouchers on their website for phones, laptops, dvds, blu rays, cds, consoles and games etc. We've found they pay quite good prices for some of the stuff we've sold, but it does depend on what it is (i.e. some CDs they may only pay 10p for!)

Sorry to hear that hubby has lost his job but WOW what a positive attitude you have to it, its very admirable. Well done to both of you and hope that something good comes of it all and his health improves. :T

I have been inspired to declutter, it actually came as a shock to me how much off a horder I had become but so far I have recycled/binned a trailer full of stuff, and donated a futher 8 bin bags full of stuff to charity..clothes,toys,household stuff etc. I used to love to give to Freecycle but mine has gotten so greedy lately that i'm lothe to donate to it anymore especially after I saw people ask for Flat Screen TV's,Nintendo Wii's, a car, a laptop, everything for a wedding inc dress, shoes, veil, favors, car, flowers yadda yadda in just one day (sorry rant over) .But anyway i'm feeling much better for the decluttering and I plan to continue so thank you for the inspiration.0

Who's up for getting rid of 20 things today or tomorrow?
Shall we seek out those things cluttering up hallways, stairs, anywhere!
Have you had some "ins" recently of clothes or stuff - perhaps try and seek out the older things that go in return.
Let's go:j I'll be back to report on progress later :j
I'm game for this.I'll report back tomorrow!
PS Hope you feel better soon.0 -

Right the get rid of 20 things today/tomorrow mini challenge:-
1. Used up toiletries as part of that challenge, washed out and recycled (recyling)
2. Old t shirt that had shrunk in the tumble drier so a size smaller! (charity)
3. Electrical gadget (charity shop that found out today accepts electricals)
4. Rag bag of old clothes that charity shops often sell to the ragbag man (charity)
5. Bubblewrap packaging (charity - useful for wrapping china and stuff)
A slow start but with a sniffy nose, blocked ears and tiredness its ok :A
