Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately OH took them to the recycling centre yesterday.Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

Done a bit more today
1. Sorted out a suitcase of OHs that has remained unopened since we moved here 1.5 years ago. Was full of old letters and magazines that I've thrown away and a few nice bits that I've kept.
2. Sorted a bag of fabric scraps and ribbons to go on freegle or give to a school.
3. 2 more bags of rubbish gone onto the pile.
4. Offered some packets of cat grass on Facebook as I have a lot of cat people on there, if no takers then they'll go on Freegle.
5. Sorted some eBay stuff out, most of it going into boxes to be listed as a 'carboot job lot' when I'm done, if no takers then I'll cart the lot round the charity shop. Kept behind some nicer bits and jewellery to go on seperately as job lots.
Seems like quite a lot when I look at it like that, bedroom still looks like the same mess as when I started but at least I know it's slightly more organised messD'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0 -
I am at that horrible stage now of complete chaos where it is going to get worse before it gets better in my dining room, and it'll drag out now for a few days.
Never mind. It'll be worth it in the end.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

I hate that...ive been sorting out our bedroom over the weekend and everything has ended up all over the bed, which then had to be cleared before we could get into bed...last night I nearly slept in the lounge! We sorted it all out though and it felt so good going to bed knowing that at least I would be able to find whatever it was I was looking for...as long as it was in the half of the room I had sorted lol im a lot more organised today though and id say our room is pretty much sorted!! :-)January grocery challenge- £338.09/£350

Hi all, managed to sort out a bag (again!) for charity, and cleaned and tidied 4 rooms, sorted out hubby's wardrobe and took decs of tree, tree put away but got to sort thru decs tomorrow as ds3has broken quite a few! Want to sort out shoe cupboard this wk and polish everything in there, not doing hubby's cupboard though, it's full of mud and stinky trainers ugh! Tried to sort out the loft but now looks even worse - didn't think that was possible! Anyway off to try to sleep now, can hardly keep my eyes open!grocery challenge jan 17 £ / 350.000

Haven't left the house all weekend so nothing has completely gone but also means hardly anything in!
In:
1 junk leaflet - straight into recycling
1 new bra ordered from Bravissimo as they didn't have my size in store at new year - came this morning was really confused post on a Sunday still but at least it saves a trip to post office!
Out (in recycling/bin/used up)- 1 lush bath bomb been in cupboard quite a while
- Some Christmas chocolate
- Various bits of food and drink - made lots of things for freezer and leftovers in there too - so food for lunches sorted for quite a while :A
- Bag for charity shop with a few bits of clothing in it
- Piles of old clothes, socks etc to go in clothes recycling - I always put this stuff straight in the charity bins rather than to a shop as although I know shops get money for clothes they can't sell, having volunteered in them I'd rather it went straight to a central depot and saved shop staff the hassle.
- Bits and bobs of paper recycling, things I've finished reading and all recycling out into the garage and bins emptied too - out of house at least!
Failed on the ebay front as I was so busy cooking today and forgot but there will be other chances.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Just gone midnight and I finished up my eBay posting. All in all, have over 30 items listed for sale. Including some games and CDs that DH said could go. He is a music hoarder, so this is great progress! :j
Also have a big stack of games for trading in at Amazon. Don't know how we have so many, considering we never play the consoles! They'll be next to go. :rotfl:0 -

We collected Bras for charity at work. These were shipped off to Africa to be sold at knock down prices , why africa , with a high rape count for the country research has shown that a woman wearing a bra has a significantly reduced chance of getting raped and catching HIV . So Donate those bras to a good cause ladies.
