    Hello

Back on the thread as it's the school holidays, I don't have much time term-time. Managed to get some old documents shredded today and a general tidy up recycling/throwing out as I did. DH went to the tip/recycling depot and got rid of cardboard, garden rubbish and an old table.

It's the last day the wheelie bin and recycling containers will be emptied tomorrow so need to get as much out as possible.

Hope the holidays see lots of decluttering as well as ins (we have 4 children) will report back to keep me motivated.

I am slowly planning a massive decluttering operation for this week :D

There is a massive pile of stuff ready to go to the dump and I am about to send DD up to remove all the packaging for her gifts so that we are not clearing bits out for weeks!

We also have a mountain of things in the dining room that we need to give back to people or to just general get rid of.

I will pop back over the next few days to update :)
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!

I did tidy up the spare room for OH's Mum (now waiting for her to decide to go home, so I can continue the decluttering mission!) Recycled a lot of cardboard, I kept it for Ebay packaging, but I don't have that much left to sell now. I also have a large bag full of clothes and toys to go to the charity shop later this week.

Just need to find space for the new presents now and burn the wrapping paper (I was told printed wrapping paper can't be recycled), but it has been too warm to light the fire for the last few days!

Lots of stuff waiting for the recycling collection - they did part of the round today but missed our row. I always like to take the Christmas decorations down for the New Year and so the plan is to sort them out as they are put away, carefully wrap the lights etc. We really need to get our storage sorted so that is on my new year list of things to do.

    Happy decluttering

  • hello folks

was packing and done a massive declutter- ended up giving some stuff as christmas presents (shows how new some items were and that I had now even unpacked). Now have two big bags one for charity and the other for me to sell and try and recoup some funds. also completed a massive shredding afternoon- felt really good creating some space and flow of energy all ready for 2012. I do have a way to go but at least have made more steps forward - no more accumulation of STUFF. will be in touch in 2012 thanks for the inspiration.
