I don't think anyone's mentioned the free Ebay listings this weekend: I had an email about it this morning so haven't checked for listing restrictions. Should be of use to somebody somewhere :D

  • Wasn't aware of the free listings this weekend so hopefully this will be the motivation I need to get things photographed for ebay. Not got alot of time to get stuff done today so unlikely I will get rid of anything but hopefully get one or 2 photos taken for ebay.
  • Im sick of the amount of clutter around our flat, we have a small 2 bedroom flat and me and DH have 3 small boys too...and we are constantly tripping over stuff and not being able to find anything...DH couldnt find his shoes for work this morning! This week I have decluttered my kitchen, and my plan is to do a room a week this month, but im not sure if I will manage that, but I think the hardest part will be not letting it get all cluttered up again!! DH is a great one for hoarding things he never uses and doesnt need too which doesnt help my cause...with only 4 days left really of this challenge im going to give it a good go, tomorrow ill sort out all my craft things, there are things on there ill probably never use and I can list them on ebay for free :-)
    January grocery challenge- £338.09/£350

  • oooh this is sooooo what I need so any support / checking up on me appreciated! Im loathe to admit I take after the hoarding side of my family rather than the 'showhouse' minimalistic side doh! I currently live in a large 2 bedroom flat ALL of the rooms are cluttered (some far worse than others, cant actually ) I am clean and try to be tidy but I just have SO MUCH STUFF:eek:...Its very easy to think ' well just get rid of it' but I hate the thought of waste and am a hoarder through and through so find it VERY hard :o( I have countless times had a big 'sort' and have in the past managed to get rid of several bags and boxes full of stuff but the other things just seem to grow into the space and it doesn't look any different so I end up giving up and trying to ignore it but can never fully relax and its really starting to get me down now. :( Am hoping by joining this challenge to do little and often instead of burning myself out in mad bursts of sorting.....help please!

OOOh can I join in please? This is just the motivator I need as I have been very de-motivated last year (broken foot & just as I was getting mobile - broken wrist so not much done!) I need to clear out my 'small' bedroom as its a dumping ground for paperwork -me :(
& all the 'junk' drawers in the kitchen (only 5 of them!!!) I'll wait to do the loft when the weather warms up as its b... freezing up there. DH is just finishing building his shed - door went on today & he's been moving stuff from the garage so we can get the car in. I did ask if he was sorting the stuff out as he went & he said yes - but the rubbish bin is suspiciously light........ ah well, its his shed.
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

I've got another bag ready for the charity, and have sent our 9 parcels for Ravelry/ MSF knitters. I have decided to give the rest of my unwanted stash to either the charity shops or to a friend who ebays for a local charity.

I've fallen behind a bit over last two days, as not much else has moved, but that will change tomorrow, as DH has said that he'll take a car load to the CS at some point in the afternoon.

Slowed down a bit now I'm back to work. Have gradually sorted out the kitchen checking for food I need to use up in store cupboard challenge before it ends up being binned!

Am also part way through another wardrobe sort out! I want all my clothes to comfortably fit in the space rather than bursting out when the doors open ;) I dream of a capsule wardrobe!
