A few "ins" today
2 bicycle bells for DS and DD, one out already DS age 9 said he could fix it himself and he did. Still waiting for DD age 19! to fix hers (bet she asks her dad)
A few bits for DD to take to uni from HB.
Some windscreen wash as mentioned on the "preparing for winter thread"
Food.
Only "outs" have been a juicer and book, donated to someone at DH work and general rubbish/recycling.
I did have to go and buy some more paint, I needed gloss and varnish. There is a 3 for 2 offer on at B&Q so I got an extra tin of paint and am in the process of re-painting our feature wall in the living room.
Have a great weekend everyone.

I went through clothes/shoes/cds and have one bag to give to charity, am debating whether to give my CDs to charity or do the music magpie thing...........
I still have lots to do but am taking very regular breaks;) and am not doing anything tonight so go for as long as I can.
have to some furniture moving now but having a cup of tea first.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Jollyanna, have you considered offering the beans on your local Freegle group?
Even if you have loads you might be able to pass some on. I once received an old bean bag to use the beans for a lucky dip at a school fair. When we had finished with them I put them back on Freegle and a lady collected them to use for packing material in boxes.0 -
Out: A mug tree, not much but every little bit counts!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0

Two bags of rubbish, two bags for charity, including the Cds, some are in damaged cases and I can't be faffed to Music Magpie them. My inner MSEr is wailing at this however and so I might change my mind.
I reorganised the shed (again) to accomadate my old fish tank, cupboard and the 3 drawer caddy thing (now being used for garden stuff). I moved the old Chest of drawers back and then will go upstairs to take the clothes I went through today. This will free up space under the bed which will be used for Christmas gifts, shoes(!) and winter clothes.........in theory. I might find my sorting tomorrow means things change.

Hi Lyndy, re the giant beanbag, yes I did see the hoarder prog. as I am a long time fan of Jasmin and "a place in the sun". I do have difficulty getting rid of stuff but not everything . I wanted to hang on to the bag because it can be slept on and maybe one of my kids will need it in the future if they get a place of their own. I'm coming to the conclusion that I should dispose of half of the beans and try to store the remainder for 6 months and then part with them if there is no prospect of usefullness.
As Starfishpie says, I can offer them on Freegle as some person could well be keen to have them.0 -
Morning. I saw that hoarding programme too and had a small weep as it was like watching the conversations my mum and i have. i have mini hoarding tendancies, but have frequent clear outs - mostly the hoard is whatever hobby i am into at the moment, but Mum is really bad, and has been worse since i moved out, there are now only 2 seats free in the living room and one in the kitchen, to eat you balance on a pile of newspapers on the table. The programme taught me i can't help her, it has to be her decision to change, but i worry that if i have kids they won't be safe there.
Anyway on a brighter note i took 2 bags to charity shop, OH 'rescued' the 2 teddies at the last moment -'because they looked so sad!!!' so 2 small back ins!:rotfl: part of this decluttering is because we want to live together!£400,000 starting Jan 2020 current end date Aug 2041 I would love the end date to be 2027 but will aim first for 2037.
1% target £4000 so far £20 paid0 -

Has to be current, and in excellent condition. If it's not good enough for Ebay, it wouldn't be good enough for my nearly new shop.
I tend to send the odd thing there, and the rest all goes to the charity shop.
I meant the shops that give you 50p a kilo - my stuff was nowhere near good enough for a nearly new shop! It was still wearable but not nearly new. Had a look into it online and the clothes are sold on to second hand shops in Eastern Europe so I thought that it would be still be going to a good cause. The 6 bags came to 22 kgs so got £11. Almost enough to get a pair of shoes fixed - £13 to get shoes reheeled and new toes - crumbs! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Not much out today but I did one shelf in the black hole cupboard. More a case of tidying rather than chucking.
In:
Home grown pots and runner beans :j
Out:
Nothing well a bag of shredded paper on it's way to the bin when I go down stairs in a moment.
Pending out:
Old fashion pulley arier
one broken computer. Just need to pull out the hard drives and off to the tip.
Right better get off and think about lunch.
Onwards and upwards.
