So, here is my de-clutter list. Plus, a few cleaning related bits.

    1. Sort through all work related boxes/trays
    a. Throw away/recycle/shred everything that isn’t needed
    b. Anything to be kept put in desk unit (buy storage boxes if needed)
    c. All stationary type things to be stored in one box
    2. Put all personal paperwork/documents in one concertina file
    3. Deal with any paperwork requiring action and then file/shred/recycle
    4. Keep all work related receipts in plastic wallet in desk
    5. Unpack the big box of kitchen stuff that is taking up half of the floorspace!
    6. Sort through clothes in suitcases/sacks since house move and take anything that is too big/won’t be worn to charity shop
    7. Deal with the ironing mountain and iron the clothes from suitcases etc.
    8. Put all clothes away straight away in new furniture J
    9. Make display boards for work and then leave at venue
    10. Take bottles to bottle bank
    11. Move dog food sack into garage and decant into smaller container to be kept into kitchen
    12. Unpack recipe books and put on bookshelf
    13. Move dog crate into garage to see how dog copes with not using it!

    a) Vacuum all floors
    b) Vacuum sofas
    c) Mop floors
    d) Dust/polish
    e) Wipe down window/door frames and skirting boards
    f) Clean both bathrooms
    g) Clean kitchen
    h) Pull up weeds at front of house and in yard
    i) Dust blinds

If i made a complete 'to do' list it would take me into the middle of next week just to type it out. I prefer bite size chunks. :)
So today i need to :
Sort out large cupboard in bedroom
sort out and clean rest of kitchen cupboards (tonight)
    sort out ebay stuff.
    Pack and post ebay sales.

Busy rest of week so won't get much else done :(

Next week i hope to get some of the attic sorted out-it's quite full of all sorts of 'stuff'.

julie2710 - have you thought about the NCT nearly new sales for getting rid of the baby things? (Google NCT and you can search for sales in your area) - they take a commission of what you sell, but you can attempt to get rid of it all in one go (either in bundles of items or singly for the better stuff) I sell at 2 or 3 sales a year - unsold stuff goes on ebay on a free listing weekend. If unsold after that it goes either to the next NCT sale (if a good item), sold via cash4clothes or gets donated to charity. With 4 children I find it minimises my 'pending' stuff to sell in the loft :) NCT nearly new sales are Great to get rid of clothes, toys, maternity stuff, prams etc..

Today I have a large box of random items (possibly suitable for a car boot) being collected - about 80 items in there - yeay!! :D:D I'm trying (and sometimes failing!) to be ruthless in my sorting out :)

However, last night I placed a £116 order with the book people (eek!!) and an £80 order with M&S (uniform) I ahve losted about a dozen things on ebay this weekend, too - hopefully a few will sell... ;)

Today hasn't been so good.....not done much. However, I have FINALLY got the mould/mildew out the bottom of the net curtains. It took: one rinse in bath, one machine wash, soak overnight in washing powder in bath, machine wash, soak overnight in dettol mould and mildew remover, machine wash w/bicarbonate of soda, soak in bleach, machine wash!! But they're finally completely white and are currently hanging on the line.

I've got to go to the post office and then before bedtime I'm hoping to have put the bins out and done a bit of hoovering.

I have achieved miniature greatness today :D

Been totally ruthless and bagged up loads of clothes for the charity shop and I have also listed loads of things on Freecycle which should all be out my house in the next couple of days :).

Also thrown out 3 bags of rubbish and started to tidy up the kitchen by clearing out the cookery books that I don't actually use, the cupboards will have to wait for another day :o

Sold a spare printer we got for nothing so that was nice to get some pennies too!
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!

My poor OH is going to wonder where all his things are when he gets home :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I just have such a sense of achievement clearing out things that have been sitting about unused for years (and unlikely to ever be used).

Once I have cleared all the rubbish I will be able to move and display the things I love!

Well, I'm rather pleased with myself today! Although the lounge looks worse than it did to start with (as I haven't quite completed the 'going through all work stuff' task) I have just filled 3 big bags with paperwork and other stuff to dispose of and in the process emptied 7 small boxes that were filling up the spare room! I've organised most of what I'm keeping into folders that are now nice and ordered on the bookcase and I'm processing the rest into a suitable order to put in the desk unit (which I totally emptied of junk).

I've just cleared away most of what was cluttering up the kitchen - but didn't manage to start on the big box of kitchen stuff that is still bloxed up since I moved.

I have one big box of confidential paperwork that I am going to burn in the near future as it is too much to shred.

A trailer full of cardboard boxes that all of my new furniture cam in has been taken to the recycling centre.

Still plenty left to do but I have achieved more today than I have in the last couple of weeks! :T

I love that feeling of having a cleaned/ organised an area, I look over to it and smile! It is odd but it really does make me happy!

I also love getting rid of stuff, bags to charity giving things as gifts or just binning them!!!!

I must remember this when I start decluttering on Saturday.

    Happy chucking everyone
