I couldn't complete 20 things this weekend
Here is all I did
1. 2 battered Bathroom mats as they have been replaced by new ones
2. Empty bottle of a product that I had got for testing
3. Couple of over ripe bananas, 1 kiwi and 1 plum in a smoothie
4. 1 small cardboard box
5. A broken accessory of old vacuum cleaner
6. Empty tube of used up BS Cranberry joy handcream
7. Few hair accessories
8. An old set of PJs
9. A rusted shower caddy that has been replaced by a new one
10. 9 copies of Glamour magazine
11. Shredded some old bank statements
12. Envelopes of stuff got in the post the last couple of weeks
13. Some bits of plastic that join together to make drawer dividers- they were too flimsy to use
14. Some rubbish from the bathroom
15. An empty bottle of a used up Lush Ultralight bodylotion
So not 20 but I haven't spent much time this weekend cleaning as was out with family
Hopefully will do better next weekend

After Saturday's marathon I spent some time in my wardrobe (not literally, it's a bit full
)
- Two skirts to the charity shop bag
-three items to the E-Bay pile.
Then a lot of re-arranging
Next on the list is the single bedding - we're replacing the oldest single bed (a former bunk-bed) with a double now that the little Luxs live away from home.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
We have decluttered the back yard a bit more, so that's looking better.
Managed to fill waste paper basket in the bedroom with bits & pieces and have added a few toiletries & a pair of too large trousers to a new CS bag.
Have also decluttered some of the ironing pile & am decluttering the washing up - have to leave everything as best as I can, am off for a few days tomorrow. Have nearly managed to declutter all the washing too - it's been great hanging things out on the line this week

My decluttering has ground to a halt lately (busy with work, plus it was my birthday last week), so the basic summary for the last week or so:
Three more toiletries bottles used up and won't be replaced (the bathroom now looks like a lot of people live here rather than looking like a branch of Boots)
Couple more books added to charity bag
Pair of pyjamas added to charity bag
Five magazines and two catalogues put in recycling
Three CDs added to charity bag
Persuaded OH to bin worn out underwear (next task: holey socks)
Decluttering fail: I told OH to remove the hard drive from my old (very dead) laptop, plus any components he wanted to keep, so we could bin the rest of it. By the time he'd finished, the outer casing was binned. The rest of the laptop is now in a storage box that's bigger than the original laptop. So much for decluttering...
Hopefully I'll get back into proper decluttering more in the next week or two - I was doing so well until my routine was interrupted.0 -
Got a new lease of de-cluttering life here!
Was told of friends doing a charity shop for 4 weeks, starting next week in aid of a local charity so feel 'obliged' (:)) to donate some stuff (but its all good to me, I get rid, they raise money)
1 old kettle, cleaned and polished!
1 old clock
6 or 7 books
1 set of christmas decs new and can't find the decs box so out they go
1 hole punch
1 pair of shoes I bought 3 weeks ago as my boots were hurting, wrong size but comfier than what I had on but can't wear them at all as a size too large!
and I will be back with more as I have hardly touched the loft!0 -

I haven't posted for about a week as I've been a bit busy. The last post I made was about my lovely Saturday last weekend
I had a Vie at Home party on Wed night and hardly had to do anything at all to the living room apart from finish clearing the windowsill and get OH to move his bits from the fireplace. I have to say that I am amazed the living room has stayed tidied. There is still nothing on the deep windowsill apart from the house phone and notepad. It's usually a dumping ground for stuff, but it's stayed clear and I love it
Apart from a bit of washing up the kitchen has stayed tidy
OUT:
DD1 has yet again gone through her making stuff this weekend and cleared out a bit more, by doing activities in kids magazines etc so that I will then let her recycle them lol.
Sold 5 things on ebay last night, 2 have been posted and just waiting for the others to pay.
General recycling - food packaging, junk mail etc
A couple of used up toiletries
My parents have asked if they can have the DDs for a few days over the Easter hols, so that will declutter the house for a while and OH is going to take some time off so we can make another start on the spare room and get the decorating kick-startedExtra savings aim for 2020 £4,000 £0/£4,000

I had great intentions for this weekend but ended up having a really lazy time oops!
I did manage to post out 7 eBay parcels, one box for music magpie, list 6 lots on eBay and got a quote to recycle my old mobile so am waiting for the envelope to arrive so I can post that off and get a nice little cheque
My aim for this week is to declutter one room per day, starting with ds's room today (one of the worst!)0 -
Hey guys,
Right, i am in much better spirits now. Had a sit down with OH, communication is key, and we now understand where each other are. just have work to tackle...
Took a bag full of bits to international Womens day - a friend of mine had a stall there. then spent sat night going through all of my clothes. came out of my bedroom with one big bin bag full. i was quite ruthless. these are now going to charity shop (i dont have patience to put them on ebay and dont think they would sell at car boot?). i also saved two pairs of trousers who's bottoms had been destroyed by turning them into 3/4 lengths. i struggle to find trousers that fit both in the waist and leg?! and i have turned a hooded jacket i love but cant stand the sleeves (which are too short) into a gillet by removing the arms. OH has also agreed to go through his clothes, and i have told him i will get him some new clothes for his birthday.
not bad for the weekend - in between visiting in-laws, visiting hospital, going into work on a day off, going swimming and teaching LO how to ride his bike....
Hope everyone else is doing ok with their decluttering and life in general.DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800
