They are really taking the pee, this morning they have tweeted they have set up another url "http://www.homebrew-beer-kit-reviews.co.uk" which has a "buy online" button that sends them straight to the brew it yourself shop for that product.
They just don't care about the orders once they are made, they just want the money asap.
Still can not find that cancel button, im still looking.
ps, macma, the longest i have had to wait with that other company you are now using is two days, but I would say about 80% of the time they have been next day. So why can't brew-it-yourself do it in less time than a month!0 -

I'm only posting here because as mentioned already, there is no where else to do it. The 2 biggest independent home brew forums will not let anyone post about The Online Homebrew Company because they have been threatened with legal action.
I've used this company in the past a few times, overall everything was ok although slow at times. But I too ordered at christmas time. 20th December to be exact, again products were showing as being in stock on their web site but were always out of stock on my account. I wasn't expecting quick delivery because of the time of year but as per the other replies mine kept creeping back.
So it got the the 13th of January and again it was put back to the 20th for delivery ( 1 month ) so I contacted them to cancel the order. this was replied to promptly and was told I'd have my money in 10 working days. I'm now on working day 23 and I'm still waiting !
I contacted my bank on Friday ( 20th working day ) about this, so hopefully I should have my £86 back sooner rather than later.
I have also been on the Trustpilot site, they don't seem to care that the reviews are filtered at all.0 -

I don't know as yet the outcome of the charge back. I went in and the girl called the department that deals with it, she said I'd hear within 2 weeks of the outcome.
I've not posted a review on Trustpilot as I need the code too. When I asked on the BIY forum for one I was banned.
*edit. If you do a search on TP for the online shopping co their parent website comes up, you can review on there. I've still not done one ( although I've commented ) as I didn't want to rock the boat too much in case I didn't get my refund but it's past that now.0 -

Howdy all, Ive been shopping online for a long time and this is the only 'company' ive had problems with. These people need to be reported somehow, trust reviews make them look great when infact they are lying scumbags who take your money and string you along with the dispatch dates.
-Brew it yourself- why not come on here and tell us why you take our money and keep pushing back the delivery dates?? Come on!!0 -
I just twittered Theo, they are using his name on their twitter account like it is some kind of endorsment...@TheoPaphitis Do you know the-online-homebrew-company.co.uk is using your #SBS twitter endorsment and giving terrible service?
Folks should twitter him and let him know what is going on.0 -
Trustpilot are looking for information.The intention with the order filter is that companies can make sure that only genuine customers can review them - NOT that you can sort out negative feedback.
It seems that quite a lot of customers are having problems with this, and we will make sure that this issue is handled properly.
