Any Age Gene. Private property is not subject to the requirements of a driving licence.
I learned to drive at the age of 7 on the farm and from then on worked all the vehicles on it.
Private property IS private property even without a gate at the end of the accessway no matter what the Jockanese twit says.
So who insured you at 7?;)0 -
:wave::wave::wave: Tara from me too!
Public liability stops on the BOUNDARY of the property. If the postie comes onto your property he does so at his own risk and therefore YOU do not require insurance.
Correct.....postie requires insurance. As you quit rightly state - it's his risk and as such requires insurance.Why do you think in the "I'll sue you" culture of the USA they mostly have a postbox at the entrance to the property so as the postie does not need to enter said property? Else they can refuse to deliver.
Laziness....you seen the size of some americans??:D

Err No one. I was on private property on the farm, and, may I add if anyone was on the farm that shouldn't have been there that my dad didn't recognise they'd have got a backside full of rocksalt courtesy of the Franchi 8 shot pump action 12 bore he had (now decomissioned may I add because of the UK laws).So who insured you at 7?;)

Also correct.
I've never debated the limit of private property. But where you drive on that private property, you need insurance.

Even if you could insure a 7 year old, it's not required if fenced off from public and access restricted as already stated.
It's private land and not accessible by the public.:D

Because I don't need to.
Private property IS private property. If you go on my land you need insurance. I don't. Why? because it's my land. If you're invited and I bash your car I'll make good any damage as you're a friend. If not invited... get off my land!Near a tree by a river, there's a hole in the ground.

Evidently so.
So you now admit defeat and insurance is NOT needed if I, or anyone with my permission, say a tenant or homeowner on my property (just getting back to the OP here) does not require insurance to drive on said private property and we are not required to have a closed gate or a barrier or whatever at the entrance of said property and the fact that the boundary entrance where the council liabilty ends is where private property starts and is the end of where the road traffic act has Jurisdiction?Near a tree by a river, there's a hole in the ground.
