Was brought back down to earth Xmas night though when DD rang to say her bf was in the cells for battering her, and it wasn't the first time!!!:mad:Came back Boxing Day to find her sitting with a positive preg test, and now she's back with him:(:(I feel like i'm having deja vu, although Boo's Dad wasn't violent at all:o

Oh dear Candy I am sorry to read about your DD. I hope she realises before it's too late, for the sake of her unborn baby and Boo :( xx

Kids staying over at my mum and dads tonight. I can't walk or sit straight so bang goes the opportunity of a decent night with H. to say I am royally p!ssed off is an understatement. We never seem to get a break me and him. Couldn't make our nights out in the run up to Christmas and I am in no position to do anything tonight. Yes I know we can have a night in but honestly we do that every sodding night and I just want to do something bit different for once. Feel like telling the world to sod off and go and hibernating til I feel better :o

Sorry don't mind me, feeling morose today :o

Bargainbird - I looked into low carbing but realised that I wouldn't be able to eat carrots as they are high in carbs. If I can't eat a vegetable like that then clearly that diet isn't for me. And I don't think I could really live without pasta. Bread probably just about but not pasta

    Afternoon all:j:j

Well we are back from our day out, we had a good time and picked up some bargains too:T:T
The twins have had a pair of slippers each with flashing lights on the top of them and they have gone down a storm:D:D they have also had 6 petter storm t-shirts that only cost £16 for all 6 :T:T they were out of millits in there sale. They are for the summer next year. Iv had a lovely wooly jumper from m&s it was £25 down from £45. My mom gave me some money for Christmas so that's one of the things that I am putting it towards.
My wife on the other hand and this is a first I have to say has come away from the shops with nothing:D is ain't very happy. But we have been together for 10 years in august next year and this is the first time ever we have been out shopping and she has looked but not found anything.

We could not believe all the fog and how snow was still about on the fildes out in the country. We only live a matter of mins from the green belt and the wether and ground condishions out there today was as far away from ours that you could get.

We will be having stir fry for dinner tonight. The twins are having a ham sandwich and a salad for there dinner.

We had a pub lunch in the wetherspoons pub called the postal order. My wife had a jacket spud and I had fish and chips. Twin one had ham,egg and chips and twin two had sag bog.

Well I'm off to get another coffee I hope that you all have had a good day.

    Enjoy your evening:j:j

B****y S*D , I would like 5 mins in a room with him to teach him the error of his ways, how very brave of him to beat a woman :mad::mad:, I do hope she and Boo are ok, and she finds the strength to leave him before it becomes worse, which it nearly always does, big hugs to you all xx

    Evening everyone

Sorry so many of you are feeling poorly, sorry to say I am feeling a lot better than yesterday. I think the copious amounts of alcohol have helped to kill the germs! Candygirl that's awful, hope she sees sense soon - you can just be there for her at the moment. Gerisomar, welcome and sorry to hear of your mum, take one day at a time. Hope things are looking up for you Bargainbird.

Well I managed the great outdoors today, decided that three days without crossing the doorstep was enough. Went to the bank, paid the garage bill and went to Sainsbury's to look at their sale (not as good as on-line). Got a new stick blender though - DS2 was not impressed to get the blade of the old one in his soup!!

Came back, washed the cars as I am fed up of getting filthy just opening the door and then took DS1s car for a run to Asda for some more screen wash. He has a sluggish battery in his car so need to keep it going every couple of days. DS2 said he had been worried about me as I had been out twice in one day (cheeky boy!).

Cheese and biscuits for lunch and hm broth and crusty roll for tea which I am just going to have. Apart from that not much OS I'm afraid.

    Take care all. XX
