  • Well so much for an old style staying in bed trying not to be sick afternoon. Telephone call from old neighbours (kept the house and are doing it up inbetween tenants). The garden wall (which looked fine last week and so TBQH I'm not sure if it's our wall or next doors which looked ropey IMO) has completely collapsed taking with it the garden wall of next door who are new people and would seem to be away - this wasn't witnessed either, just heard. So....in an hour and a half I have got hold of a builder, he's had a look, he is clearing a channel through the rubble for the bins (collection tomorrow), he is trying to get hold of a skip tomorrow and is securing the two garden boundaries as best he can.....And already there is moaning that somebody who parks their car in the alleyway can't get access....Just what more can I do? I'm in bed ill, OH is 100s of miles away and I think I'd done damn well.....what do people want? blood  and I've started being sick again.....and now I've got a headache.....
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

  • Hello all,

Havent been on since Christmas Eve,so so busy!
Think i've finally found homes for all the new things. I mainly had money and gift cards but DD had toys and clothes so bomb site christmas night/boxing day.

Snow has gone :D it was really starting to annoy me,went on for far too long. Its wet and foggy here,so dark and depressing!
Almost finished the christmas food now but dont need a shop yet...actually i do need milk but thats it,hope to put a few NSD's under my belt.

Caught up with some old and very lovely friends today, had a lovely lunch and they paid,i hate that, always feel bad so we are meeting for drinks NYE and i will buy at least 1 round!

Not sure what tea will be,something light.

Hope all who are under the weather get well soon. Going to have a really good lurk for an hour :D:D

yes stick with the list , you have 3 meals a day ( enough to feel comfortably full ) and if you are hungry inbetween you can have a snack , i tend to find if i low carb properly i dont get hungry inbetween meals .
you can have mashed cauli instead of mashed spuds , bread is the difficulty for me but ald!do a low carb crispbread which i use HTH x
