    Morning all

Up early this morning to take DS2 for his Theory test at 8am - he passed :jDS1 is at work but is so sick - he has this awful flu bug. He;s just rang to say he needs soup so I've some lentil soup on the go now and I'll drop a flask over to him shortly.

I'm another one who itches to get the decorations down! Christmas cards start to go in the bin on boxing day...a few at a time so its less noticeable :rotfl:

Lunch today will now be soup and maybe ham sandwiches to dip in, dinner will be Burgers in Buns with HM chips and beans. I was going to start my photo audits that I do every month today but quite frankly I CBA :D Kids came back yesterday and DH and I are both off work - room feels a bit crowded so I might end up doing some baking.

DH will hopefull tighten up the pipes in my car today and make sure the coolant hasnt leaked out and get it back on the road - it was looking a bit iffy yesterday but he spoke to a mechanic and now has a better idea of what to do.

Hope eveyone has a good day x

I seem to have lost weight over Christmas, but I wouldn't recommend a D&V diet :( I tried a veggie low-carb thing last year, but I rapidly got sick of chicory. My idea of low carbing is eating haribo sitting down to be honest. :o I went swimming last night, but my knee is misbehaving this morning again, so I'm a bit sore.

I also start to cull Christmas decorations on Boxing day lol :rotfl:Our flat is tiny and I can't handle the mess.:rotfl::rotfl:

Spent last night doing the wedding invites (PITA as they are bilingual and person specfic so it wasn't the usual production line job). OH is still in bed as he has D&V.

I'm just off to work in a bit - I don't have to be, but it's the curse of having a job where you can come and go as you please and I need to sort out one of the students before he has another melt-down. I swear I worked less when I did 9 - 5 lol. Plus I don't want man-flu :) I need to finish my self assesment form later on. :(

    I don't do new year either :)

I have done the laundry and culled a table arrangement this morning, so I have OS'ed a bit :) Have a good day all, cel x

    Good morning,

Our tree is tidied away as the cats knocked it down for the second time as I was posting on here that it had only been felled once. Just a few small decorations in the other room to go now, and more washing and ironing to do of course.

I was toying with the idea of taking the elf to soft play but....this may be a bit OCD, but with all those bugs going round just now, and the thought of all those body fluids being smeared all over the soft play surfaces....well we're going for a walk along the sea front instead :rotfl:

Dinner tonight will be freezer surprise as there's lots of home made ready meals in there. I will let the elf chose - that's the element of surprise.

    Take care all of you

  • Hello - wandering poster returns :D Not planning on doing anything today as I'm in bed and as long as I stay horizontal the nausea and sick I've got is manageable. Move about and it's a quick sprint to the bathroom...... Fortunately OH has left me supplies as he has gone to his Mum's for a few days but in all honesty food is WAY down the list..... So, my biggest decision today is whether to watch a Dr Who (1970s) or a Professionals DVD......I could get used to this :rotfl:
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

Morning(just!!) all! I'm sleeping in a lot, very unlike me, and now I'm behind on my to-do list for today, had to rewrite it all over my morning coffee :p
The snow here has vanished overnight, very strange but not unwelcome, will be brilliant to be able to actually get around again!

Today= lots of revision, organising of uni work, packing for home on the 31st
