Lol @ jellybean. Thanks for the thought anyway. I've had a nice day today. Exhausting, but nice. Was at work with my DD this morning and the house we clean seems o have inherited a ghost. Guests have told the owner about it and we have been joking back and forth all week about it. DD and I laughed at it but then we remembered times when we thought the other was just outside the door only to discover they were on another floor and we freaked ourselves out. We were rather tentative going in this morning and joked about all morning over it. I went to the loo and when I came out DD jumpedout of the wardrobe at me and I nearly had a heart attack :rotfl:. Was fun and cheered me right up. One of my frioends dropped in on us too to check up on me as everyone I spoke to last night was greeted with tears and snot
. Really not like me to be like that but hey ho. Mini breakdown time.
I then picked up my mum and took her with flowers up to the cemetary to see my dad, then took her to see my dream house and a wee donner around ASDA. She started her Christmas shopping. god bless her and had a wonderful day. I only spent £5 today as shopping was paid from themoney I put onto my ASDA card at the beginning of the month so no cost there.
My son told me today that it was amazing the difference in me.I was all chuffed until he backed it up with' yes you have much less cellulite!!' I think it was meant to be a compliment but am not sure :rotfl:. What a boy !
I feel so much better today and have a wee lunch booked with my bessie mates tomorrow. You just can't beat a girly lunch to get you back on track.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Dont worry about the son, men are rubbish at compliments, and thats not that bad. Just forget the last part...Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Good evening. Well I have been a crabby git today but with good reason to be honest. One of my best friends has her own laundry company and is telling me to bring my washing down and do it in one of the big machines and get towels etc dried. I never ever do as I will not admit to struggling with it. I was talking to her yesterday and was just about wailing about the amount of washing I had and she called my DD ( who was working for her today) told her to bag up all my washing and she would pick her up early with it and get the whole lot done and ironed for me. Superb eh?? Except DD decided that I would not like anyone doing my washing and told my mate that I had done it all :eek:. I wanted to bl**dy kill her as I have done 5 loads today and still not caught up, so you can imagine the ironing. Although I would never ask for help, if this had been done for me as a surprise then I would have been thrilled to bits. Oh well
.
Went for lunch and had a really nice time and a great wee catch up with my girls. 6 of us so you can imagine how many conversations were going on. One of them who I was howling and crying on the phone to on Friday night came up with flowers for me to cheer me up. I love my mates. Not so keen on DD at the minute though :rotfl:. Honestly, I despair. So lunch was just under £15 so that's ok.
House is reasonably tidyish but will have to do as back to work tomorrow and my weekday madness will begin. Bring it on as I swear I am going to get very organised this week.

Lord these girls think they can speak for us ! Well make sure she knows you would love that done as a surprise next time.
Yes, back to work tomorrow.... I am the same with the washing ... have scaffolding up so cant put it outside in the week as men are working. DH is buying me a new airer, so we will have 2!!
I aim to be organised too, everyone is getting a daily job.... wait for the riots.xTrying to shift that debt!0 -
I am the same. If I have time I am going to write down all the jobs that need done daily and weekly in this house and I am sharing them out. I dont live here myself so fair is fair. DD knows and I reckon m mate will give her a mega flea in her ear when she gets hold of her. My dd is scared of her so she will not like that
.
I already have 2 airers and both are full, all radiators are full and there is still some wet wash in the basket to get hung up .
I need to get back on track in many ways this week. I need to shake this mood offf, get the eating under control and get the exercise back on track too. I think I am ready to go for it. So tomorrow will see a new me5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Oh i had the same conversation with dd2 only saturday.
She seems to think that wet wasshing and towels and even bothereing to make her bed or actually put her rubbish in the bin is acceptable.
I know she works hard and is now atarting her uni course but she still able to live at home so alittle help would not go amiss as hubby and i work a 60 hour week.
Perhaps we ought to do a food diary along with this might make us stop eating!!!
Just read back up about your ghost. My nephew is 5 and he was unsettled nite before he started school. Sis got into bed with him and then she dozed off. He woke her syaing mummy who is that man in the corner? She said oh no one then he started crying and went white and said why is that man touching you? I laughed and said well as long as it your head he touching not yer foo you will be ok. At this point she freaked lol bless.
I think it ws our grandad as heshe was worried about him going to school and he was unsettled he was just comforting her. Well we hope:)Mum 30k/29000
