  • yeah well, they messed you about and they know it.

I am so excited for the coming week, because I can pay more debts. I know how you feel about the whole snowball thing. I am the same really, but I just like to make my payments.

Kids love a treat, you do right xx

  • am annoyed at myself. I forgot I had used my debit card for petrol and inadvertently went into my overdraft that I had just paid off. This means I will have the £10 charge again next month . So I figured that things like that will happen all the time and more often than not I will end up paying that £10 charge for the sake of going over by a few pence so I decided to pay the money to my tesco card and just allow my overdraft to run and I will pay it last of all. So tesco is down to just over £600 which is very exciting. I am going to still go for paying the £500 I said in the 100 day challenge which should finish it even quicker but then I will really need to start thinking about Christmas . The very thought of it sets my blood running cold :rotfl:.

Just waiting on the police coming now. We'll see if they turn up today or not. Yesterday my 17yr old DD had her first hangover . I wasn't too bothered about her being tipsy but I was raging mad at her for trying to lie to me about it when I could see a mile away that she was trashed. So I made her do lots of things yeaterday to keep her busy. She fainted yesterday morning when she got out of bed ( although that is quite a common occurence) and I still made her go to work :rotfl:. Hopefully a valuable lesson learnt there. Ok I better go and wait for police. I'll update later xx

  • Police came bang on time. They were great. DS was superb in his recalling of incident and came across as a nice polite young man. Looks as if this guy might get charged and DS may have to go to court . I have said that if this is unusaual behaviour for this man and that he would stop then I was happy for them to have a word with him but police say they have reason to be concerned and feel that they would want to take it further which makes me think perhaps DS had a lucky escape and no doubt it'll be me having nightmares now . It is so sad that people like this are allowed to disrupt the lives of decent people who just want to live in peace. Anyway I see it as our duty to go along with the police recommendations so we will see what happens and DS will no doubt treat it all as a big adventure and I will be a basket case .

Been watching the 9/11 programmes on tv and feeling very humble and quite emotional about it all. I don't think anyone will ever forget the horror of that day.

Anyway onto mundane things. House is shining from top to bottom and actually is quite nice. I love my bedroom, love DD's bedroom, loathe DS's bedroom, hate bathroom, hall, I can live with and lounge I can live with. Kitchen I need to live with but really not liking it. Garden is just a bl**dy mess :rotfl:but I just haven't had the time this year to do anything with it so too bad. Going to mooch on here for a wee while, then make chicken pie, mash and cauli for dinner then I need to do the dreaded ironing . There is 2 weeks worth due to my sore shoulder last week, so I will be doing it all evening :(

  • TY for hug.I'm fine just a bit busy and stuck in a rut just now. I need to find some time to get myself out of it. Work is crazy just now but I reckon it will clam down a bit again. Thought I was getting a nice chilled evening tonight, as the weather is totally mad up here and the trees are falling down all over the place again, but I got a call from my mum's alarm company that she had pressed her alarm. I flew into the car and drove like a maniac to find her sitting in her chair up to high doh as she had pressed her alarm by accident and she was fine. My bro said false alarms are fine but I just burst into tears as by the time I had gotten there I had her dead and buried in my mind. Thankfully she is okay. I swear I hate hormones as I am a wreck emotionally just now :rotfl:.

Spent £4.40 today on lunch and juice but no other spends. I wish some maintenance would hurry and come through as I am skinto :(

  • I find the period from September to end November to be so busy progressively darker and colder and ultimately depressing, that I greet the Christmas emotional run up with releif really, especially after the 21st December when I know the nights are going to start lengthening, even by a little bit.

Its this time of year when I feel like Im in a bit of a rut too at times... just going through motions, still saving like a fool for Christmas and not looking forward to the shopping.

Glad about your mum, but an understand your worry. Its like a worst nightmare scenario. And its down to you to dash off in the car and take all that on.

Hope you get some cash through soon, even when I get some I tend to spend or allocate it so its like it was never there.

Ive progressed from a printed off snowball and post it notes to a notebook, bits of paper printed off snowball and post it notes.

This could be an obsession xxx take care.
