  • Goodness. I am completely spooked now.
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • spooky right enough

Well I appear to have climbed out of the doldrums today. Been relatively good food wise all day. I attended boxercise tonight, although some of it was impossible as my shoulder is still a bit achy. I have been perfect as far as money goes. So I am happy :D. I am motivated again :p. Lets hope it lasts a while. In saying that I have been focused on the debt since the end of December last year and pretty much have been solidly at it since then. I've been staring at my snowball and had a look to see how much interest I have been paying. I had reported in May that I paid £167.77 interest . This went up in June to £170.67 ( dunno how that worked out as debt went down) down in July to £165.77 and August to £156.70:eek:. Still absolutely shocking what it is costing me every month. I'm going to put this on my siggy so I can see the amount I'm paying going down every month and that will make me well happy :D

  • OMG!! Jelly.........a few days!!!! I would never survive. It is my inspiration. I swear I love it more than my kids :rotfl:.

Ok that's signature updated and I will really get inspired when I see that figure going down. I am hoping for a fair difference this month as Tesco has gone down loads. So whilst staring at my signature I realised I have actually cut my DFD by 2 years :eek: Go me. How cool am I ?? :j

  • I think one day you will wake up and realise you were debt free three years ago at this rate xx
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Well I want to know where the flaming £800 per month I pay has gone then lol.
Busy day as per usual. I started a revolt :rotfl:. Told the boss that enough was enough and that I had too much to do and to stop piling it on. I told her that the amount we were getting put onto us was resulting in adverse behaviours i.e. folks were lying about work done and hiding things whereas I refuse to do that. This has at times meant it looks as if I'm not coping. I am a very experienced manager and I cope very well but by the best will in the world I can only do one job and I have 2.5 at the minute. I am working extra hours every day, going without breaks etc and I have had enough. I would continue doing this if it was appreciated but to be told that what we are doing isn't good enough !! Nah I dont accept that. I am not under any illusion re being a good manager. I train others, loads come to me for advice, I get great reports, I was acting out of grade etc etc so I wouldn't be doing all that if I was carp. So the workload had better get sorted out or I will be heading to my union. It takes a lot to get me to this stage but this is now encroaching on my home life and that is not bl**dy on. Thankfully my peers backed me up and the floodgates opened to a full and frank discussion :p. I said it was better to talk about this today whilst everyone was relatively calm and not to leave it until we were all stretched to the limit again. Anyway moan over, I will fix this.

No spend today other than kids lunch so all is well on the money front so far .

Watching BB now and chilling with a packet of quavers :D
