What a roller coaster of a time you are having - full of good and funny as well as inevitably sad.
Look after you in all this - you have already recognised the potential for comfort eating - as an expert in this field, I know how hard it is to keep in moderation xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I know Hypno and I am a dreadful comfort eater. I am just away to count my points now as best I can and get right back on it. I'll use some of my 49 points to cover what damage I have done and make sure I get out walking a couple of times for activity points. That should more than cover these 2 days and Saturday drinks at Westlife
.
Hopefully I can now get off this roller coaster for a wee while as I am not liking it much5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Just think of all the calories to be used dancing and singing at westlife, that's got to help!!
That is just the best news about your DD! Sometimes it's just wonderful being a parent, I love that feeling when you are just bursting with pride, it's awesome.
That's a good idea with your o/d and if it means you have peace of mind then all the better.
Hopefully life will quieten down for you now and only another week of work and then your on holiday again!! :j
Relax and have a good night x
PS. Thanks for the invite - if only lol0 -
Evening folks. Well so much for hoping my life would quieten down. My mum was ambulanced to hospital today . This was after the doctor told her she wanted her to go in and my mum refusing point blank until I promised her that if it was awful I would take her straight back out. Her home carer had called me and I had to come home from work to talk her round. Her oxygen levels were down at 73%, which is not good, and doc suspected she had an infection. I went in ambulance with her ( again lol) and 5 minutes after I booked her in she was whipped into resusc . Oxygen levels were low again and her heart was racing off the scale. Got her settled and ready to go to the ward when they started bringing people in from a major traffic accident, turns out there was a fatality, which wasn't very nice. Car crash ended up on the road we had to go home on and we sat for nearly an hour in traffic. My friend was in it for 4 hours  and on way home we crossed the erskine bridge and the police were looking over the side of it as there had obviously been a jumper:eek:. Nightmare of a day and tbh I can't wait to see the back of this week.
Never mind I am off to see Westlife tomorrow. That will be fab. And the sun is to shine all day too
Spent approx £11 today. £5 for a present collection in work, some rolls for lunch and brekkie, juice and cups of tea in the hospital.
Am working in the morning but using the money for tomorrow night and being a total rebel and not using it for debts. I hope you are all well xx

Enjoy Westlife0 -
I have a sore heed
. Too much cider :rotfl:. What a fabulous day I had yesterday. Great friends and a fab concert. Sat in the sun at George square with fish and chips and a cheeky wee vodka. Hamilton Park was a great venue for a concert but I thought the sound system was a bit naff, I just wanted them to turn the volume up. Only spent about £35 as ticket was already paid for.Was home by midnight so all is well today.
My mum is doing well. She has just phoned me and given me a run down of everything she has eaten :rotfl:and a list of things to bring with me today. She's obviously feeling better when she's rapping out the orders.
Bids on e-bay end today and quite a few things are selling. I'm at £16 so far so hopefully that will increase a wee bit as the day goes on.
I had £48 extra in my account yesterday from the tax credits as I only phoned this week with the details for my re-assessment. I'm sweating now to see what I will get from them in future. My wages are still the same but you never know. So I am not going to use the £48 to pay debts but am going to go to ASDA and stock up a bit as we are very Mother Hubbardish in here just now. I will also need petrol with running back and forth to the hospital.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

11 items sold on e-bay out of the 16 I listed. £25 all in plus postage so that's okay. It'll make a start on DS's uniform for going back to school.
Went to see my mum and she has pneumonia again but seems to be doing really well so fingers crossed she will get over this and be home soon.
Spent £54.17 in ASDA today plus £4.57 on a cheapo toaster after DS's fiasco the other day with our old toaster. So shopping so far this month has been £325.90 . That is shocking . I can't imagine what it would be if I wasn't watching what I was doing. Very obvious that I cannot last on £250 for a month as I have not even managed on £300 this month. I will set it at £300 next month and try and keep to that. But in hindsight that may not happen either as we are in a caravan for a week on holiday so highly unlikely I'll manage that either but I will have a go so long as it doesn't spoil our week away. I might just count actual food and have a separate budget for holiday treats such as cakes, sweets, takeaways etc.
Weather here this weekend has been amazing. Everyone is smiling and happy. Washing is blowing away outside. I love the sunshine5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
