I'm scared to phone tax credits with my details but I haven't had a wage rise in a few years so should be okay. I did some acting up out of grade last year but I don't think it'll make much difference.
Hey 2 years is nothing but I know what you mean about time in between paydays it gets really frustrating. That's part of the reason I am trying so hard to make sure I pay the money from 2nd job to debt as at least I can see a wee difference each week.
I've listed 14 books on Amazon tonight. Found 23 I haven't read in bookcase :rotfl:. Should really get off of here and read some so I can sell them. Quite annoying though that a lot of books are on sale for 1p. I asked £1 for most of mine. I'm going to drag out my open uni books and see if they sell anywhere as I have loads of them. I'm with you on the pmt and feeling down with it and I reckon it is just getting worse as I get older. Hey ho the joys of being a woman
Don't worry about offloading on here, I speak to this diary as if it is a real person lol but it saves my kids getting it in the neck if I come on here and vent. So unload all you want you can guarantee we'll not judge. Chin up and best foot forward and all that sh*t :rotfl:.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

well I have got up this morning full to the brim of energy
. So far I have 2 loads of wash out on the line and another in the machine. I have cleared out half of a massive cupboard under my stairs and I have loads of jackets for selling on e-bay and 3 boxes of stuff for a car boot and a large bag for the charity shop. My house is overflowing with treasure
.
House looks like a bomb site at the minute mind you as I have boxes all over the lounge, washing all over the kitchen floor and the normal general mess that there always is with my 2. I will be organised by end of week though and I am going to look in the local paper to see if ther is a car boot sale anywhere on Sunday and try to get to that. I need money to start uniform shopping so whatever I make I will use for DS's as DD is buying her own. She is working loads over the summer and I told her that I would not take any money from her but I expected her to buy all her uniform. Her dad has told her he will help but I told her not to rely on that as he has always refused in the past to help in any way so after all these years I am doubtful that he will change. Right am off to collect DD from work and she can clear out any treasure from her room too
.

Well that was quite exciting. I grabbed 2 huge cardboard boxes on my way out the door to go an dget DD to take them to the skip. We were driving out of the skip when we saw 2 cracking wooden garden seats and I drove back in and took them
. DD will paint them and they can be new furniture ofr her summer house. Although she was mortified at my scrounging she is delighted witht he seats and will get down to painting them ASAP. Nice one I say :j.

More good news!!
DS is involved with a group in school because he was being bullied. They build confidence in kids and they are really good at teaching them team work which DS is rubbish at as he is abit of a geek and loves his own company , which I don't think is always healthy for him, but they have just caolloed to say they have a place on a trip tomorrow going power boating and sailing and DS can go :j. They are also taking him paint balling next week and to M&D'S (WHICH IS A BIG THEME PARK) and all for the princely sum of £0, nada, zilch and tomorrow they are even providing all the food. Result. And I get a days peace.........double result
. He earned a fiver today helping one of our elderly neighbours to tidy up her garden so he can use that for spending money. Happy days.

Well unfortunately all my good news has been followed by awful news tonight. My uncle has been getting treatment for lung cancer and all appeared to be going really well but we found out today that he is terminal and they can only make him comfortable. He has known for a few days but didn't know how to tell the family. How sad is that:(. I used to practically live with him and my aunt during the summer holidays when we were small and I am very very fond of him. I'm feeling mega guilty that I haven't been to the hospital to see him and there is no excuse as I have been off of work. Never mind there's no point going down that route. My mum is really upset as well as she feels really helpless as she can do nothing to help. Sad times
Went into ASDA tonight on way back from Tae Kwon Do and spent £4.59 on more fruit, milk and a pack of pancakes for DS. Don't think I am going to manage the grocery challenge somehow :rotfl:.

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle, how very humbling that he wanted to spare everyone else's feelings, sounds like a really special person. Sending you (((hugs))) x0

He is a lovely man. he's quiet in nature but his grandchildren would climb over their Nana to get to him. They all adore him and he is an excellent Papa. He's only comfortable in a few people's company and I am lucky enough to be one of them. He's been in my mind all night tbh but I am not the type to dwell and I will be fine tomorrow.
